Is saidit getting more popular?

I see a lot more posts than usual and people are hyping it up as the replacement for reddit. I think as long as it stays free speech it will replace reddit.

I got banned on reddit recently simply for linking saidit. I'll drop the link on there whenever I come across someone who seems half-way intelligent and is commenting about how broken and stupid people are over there.

Nonetheless, there must be some hesitancy even towards saidit.
This is partly due to a certain lack of transparency about who owns/controls it.
Let's not forget that privatizing digital town squares
was done to bypass actual freedom of speech.

Eventually, a non-privately/corporately owned platform,
a publicly-owned platform, really analogous to a town square,
has to eventually be created,
where, by law and to the extent allowed by law,
e.g. freedom of speech, is implemented.

Sincere political views by actual people must be protected,
and only taken away if someone is caught shilling, spamming, advertising,
and/or committing other forms of lying for pay.

Nothing will replace the hole that bot spam, astroturfing, and homo/tranny politics fills.

At least I can be pleasantly surprised when I have a random interaction in my daily life, and reminded that most people aren't completely unhinged losers.

Half the time I reply to something, I get a 403 error, and I just say screw it. It would be nice if that got fixed.

That's because the Cloudflare verification expired. Refresh a different saidit tab for verification and you can submit your reply without the 403.

I end up copying the comment, refreshing the page and pasting it, but it happens so often, it gets really annoying.

There's too many shitty people here for it to replace Reddit (ironically enough.) It'll never appeal to mainstream normies with as many dumbfuck Daily Stormer retards here. But that's just fine; Saidit shouldn't become popular, because the minute it does, it's over.

I got banned from reddit for supporting shooting invaders. Note I was talking about shooting invaders to the US. Had I been talking about invaders to Ukraine, I would be hero! Anyway, since I was banned I've been posting here more often.
