things people can do in everyday life?

Does anyone have suggestions for living in a more peaceful way day-to-day? These things may seem small but maybe they can help contribute to peace especially in the long term.

Peace is what we have now. The conditions for war are already set like dominos. I would suggest advocating for limited immigration and reduced food aid to reduce future casualties.
