I know it’s not my business what people do in their personal life but it feels sad to see so many reject their own culture, especially among my own friends/ family. I had a friend that told me they preferred WM because they found them more attractive. If the reason is just physical attraction, it seems like a lot of it is due to media brainwashing. A lot of us grew up with mostly whites until college and probably consume a lot of western media. I didn’t know many Asians until college and I felt such relief to be around my own people. I felt a closeness and security with my Asian friends that I never felt with my white friends. I finally appreciated Asian beauty in college (after feeling ugly my whole life) because I was finally exposed to Asian guys and my friends introduced me to Asian media. Also, as I grow older, Asian guys just keep getting better looking and white guys just look really pale and old next to their Asian wives. A lot of the AF I know also married loser WM who don’t work or can’t get jobs. One of my cousins has to pay alimony to her loser ex-husband because he never worked. All the AF I know that married AM have good husbands that work hard and look good for their age. I don’t understand the love for WM, especially if it’s only about looks. They peak in their teens/ early 20s and then they age rapidly, balding by 30.

I’d love to meet asian men if they are any in my area. But I live in a very rural area. I rarely meet any Asian men here even in college. When I met one they are not really interested in me so that’s it. Also AF are facing very harsch beauty standards. In my country having white skin is like the holy grail. Also adding small V shape face, thin appearance etc. I don’t fit beauty standards for Asian men at all. I have broad face, and darker skin and large face bone structure. I look like I could be Native American you would typically see in old portraits. What’s left for me are the few men who actually finds my features attractive. AF women are multifaceted and we all don’t look like K-pop Idols. Do you realize that asian media have toxic beauty standards.

He looks like a normal Asian guy but he was really cute and shy with his glasses. I think he was too focused on his studies. He will be very successful and make his family proud I am sure of it. To a certain degree I believe Asian men have preference and it’s totally within their right to find certain type of girl attractive. If I push myself onto an Asian guy who doesn’t want me don’t you think that’s kinda gross and creepy? Lots of people end up with a partner for the wrong reasons and not all AFWM relations are bad and not all AF in those relationships reject their culture. Started with Jaurim's "Hey Hey Hey. Then SNSD etc. Wanted a better understanding of the lyrics, Started watching K-Drama's with subs. Not the best way to learn. The more I was exposed the more my opinion changed. Today my opinion is Asian's are the most attractive women in the world. Still don't know why.
