Yes they care about their fat pockets. But I believe it goes a bit deeper than that. In order to succeed and become that wealthy in today's rigged, kike-capitalist system, one has most likely internalized globalist cuck ideology and has an instinctual fear of nationalism/racialism and socialism. Deng's policies not only had economic effects on China, it has also fostered a globalist wealthy elite within Chinese society which only recently has been punished and brought under control by Xi's purges and greater control over the private sector. Not to mention the Western cultural influence that has poured in since Deng came to power.
