Does anyone use the "MY SUBS" dropdown menu in the top-left corner of saidit?

I'm taking a poll. I personally never ever use it on saidit, nor did I ever use it in 10 years of redditing. The drop down menu is just pointless imo. If I want to go to a specific sub, I type it in to the URL bar, or I just search it in google if I don't know how to spell it exactly.

Does anyone on saidit use the "MY SUBS" drop down menu in the top left? Should we just get rid of it? Especially since you can hit "EDIT SUBS" just a bit to the right, and it takes you to a whole page dedicated to your subscription list.

I always use it but then again I mostly use saidit on mobile and find the searchbar a bit finicky at times.

I use it. Otherwise I would never remember subs' names.

I use it when I am shopping for something interesting. It's nice to have an index of sorts even if you can just type the name into the search it seems easier to scroll the list.

Nope, too much to be usefull.

EDIT: maybe if I get an 4K screen, but my 1366x768 not so much no.

Yeah that's how I feel too. Maybe if I only had 10-20 subscriptions it'd be useful, but I have hundreds

Like most, I curated my list (and still check every week orso for new) when the 'subscription-home' option came into being.

Maybe (just maybe) it might have more merit if it was sorted on 'new posts' aka your subs with new posts came up top, but then still I doubt I (and only speaking for me) would use it.

I use it to navigate to a sub I want to post to. I only sub to about 25 subs though. I imagine if I had a huge list I wouldn't use it. I never use it on the other site

Not that often. I mostly click on and browse "home". I think it's still a useful feature though.

Yes- but replace it with something better. eg a new full-screen page showing your subscriptions.

(That little bar is not big enough to show me my subscriptions.)

And it should simply have a button next to each sub- a button to unsubscribe.

I've also never used the drop down feature on reddit.

I use it. Got used to it on reddit where I had more than 12 pages of subs, and didn't always remember the name or spelling of what I was looking for.
But with that said, I could live without it.

Yes. It seems the quickest way to go into a certain sub that I am interested in.

maybe display the menu items in a grid/table form rather than in a single column?

so they fit on the screen?

Oh that's a good idea! Maybe 7 columns or so would make it actually usable.

We just finished the modifications to the my subs list already. Check it out! Now it's a lot wider and easier to use

Add a little search bar so people can search for the sub within list.

It's difficult to use on mobile. Maybe if there was a little search bar to help you quickly find the sub within the list it would be a lot more useful.
