Maybe he should shut the door.

And windows?

Maybe no windows to close is the problem. I think chicken wire / cheap mesh fencing is the answer.

u/AntiLowEffortHuman said he met the attack outdoor and "they were used to stealing food from people".

Ahhh. That's the same as people stealing your food then, punch those bastards or go hungry.

I had the same idea.

But after I thought about they are the carriers of rabies...IDEs would be better.

Wild animals attack human for food becoming more and more common nowadays, this is an important topic.

IEDs would certainly do it... but you're not going to be carrying one of those around with you on your lunch break. Maybe pepper spray. Or maybe there's a particular smell that monkeys hate that humans don't or some kinda magic solution like that.

I think traditionally, in the US at least, they'd allow monkey hunting in order to lower the population or get it out of urban areas. Or employ a bunch of monkey catchers.

The problem is caused by... I think, is selfish+retarded people feed wild animals and street dogs and cats. And the population of these fools is skyrocketing, lead to a part of this kind of animal attack.

Before many these attack cases happen, I heard many people said someone is feeding those animals at the same location long time ago.

Maybe we should promote hunting them is fun to balance it.

I thought this was a racist troll post, but since it isn't: can't people just put decon pellets in food they leave out? Like we do for rats. Or is it not effective on monkeys.

Racist???

I am talking about wild animals.

I clarified that I realized it wasn't. It legit sounded like it was a joke about niggers stealing from you. Until I read the full text.

The poison pellets have to be sized for a monkey. So if you put out rat poison, the monkeys can eat it all day and nothing will happen to them. The poison only works if it reaches a certain level per kg of body weight. So rat and mouse poison pellets have different amounts of poison in them due to the fact they target different sized creatures.

It seems like they are strong enough to kill dogs, which got them banned in some areas, but maybe monkeys metabolize them differently? Or have a diet that keeps their blood coagulating so the poison doesn't kill them as easily? But I'm sure you are right that much more poison would be required than a couple pellets. They would probably have to eat a ton of poisoned food to get to the same level that a rat would get to off of just a few pellets. And they are smart so probably wouldn't go for it as easily. Bet a pellet gun would do the trick though...

i use traps. tbh not on monkeys, but on other mammals, like foxes, cats, rats. then i just relocate (not the rats though). traps are cheap, because they are reusable and work without human interaction. a gift that keeps giving

this is fun, but i would be worried about accidentally damaging my property, injuring somebody else, etc.

edit: i made a ninja edit, but i was not fast enough

You don't need a cell phone to make an IDE.

Monkeys learn quick, traps maybe not effective... But IDEs can traumatize them... I guess.
