      What rights? Voting rights? Politicians needed a larger voting demographic to market to. Just like how all people got voting rights, whether they owned property or not. They brand it as egalitarianism or freeing the oppressed, yada yada, but most elites see citizens as cattle and just market their policies with hypnotic words and phrases people learn from the media theirwhole life.

      Women's rights were a result of post-industrial society, as far as I understand. Physique counted for less and values change with the lifestyle of more abundance and less interdependence. Also twice the workforce - for less money.

      I'm OK with women being equal but I'm also OK with acknowledgement of our differences. A good team works better with a woman or two in it. A team of all women and one man, less so. It's complicated. One has to tread more carefully around female coworkers.
