You're making the supposition that it was ever "normal" which is completely subjective. Gone are the days of cat posts, pointing out spelling errors, and genuine civil discussion as the newer users who had been raised on instagram, vine, and tiktok are only seeking the dopamine rush of "being right" in their posts to the echo-chambers.

Doing the right thing requires brains and balls. So no, nothing will improve. Corporate cowardice has become systemic througout the west.
