From what I remember he and d3rr seemed onboard with that agenda, so maybe they are happy with the changes various more mainstream places have implemented now?

d3rr got frustrated with magnoras management and quit as the site admin. d3rr is actually still around and using the site under a different username, though I am not sure he wants me to identify him. He has not been on board with the arbitrary censorship. As far as Magnora, I really don't know much about his personal business, just observations of his management

It's nice to know that at least some of the team doesn't like the arbitrary censorship.

Well hopefully we'll figure it as a species re censorship etc. I like to think we've made some progress in that direction and can continue to.

I hope so. It's a very strange environment for free speech right now. ACLU type liberals, who historically have defended even the right of the KKK to march, are now promoting censorship, and it's now the conservatives defending it, it's all very strange to me.

I didn't know this, wow. That's certainly very different from what some people have been doing lately. That's how democracy was supposed to work, right, everyone gets to be informed and make their own decision? It's nice to know it seems strange to others too.

Yes, its a huge departure.

"The ACLU defended free speech regardless of the opinions being espoused. For example, the reactionary, anti-Catholic, anti-black Ku Klux Klan (KKK) was a frequent target of ACLU efforts, but the ACLU defended the KKK's right to hold meetings in 1923." [110]
