How would you tackle having a porn addiction, as in how would you stop it?

    It's like any other addiction. That's ironic to me that we separate by whatever it is you're addicted to. It's not the substance or activity, it's that you have an addiction problem. Could be work, gym, chocolate, porn, heroin; doesn't matter. It's the behavior you need to moderate.

    You don't have a porn addiction. There's no such thing.

    What you have is a habit, possibly a bad habit, possibly a neutral one, but you have internalized the social stigma towards it. Instead of owning your habit like a man, you're blaming the porn. "It's not my fault, it's the pooooorn!!!"

    Nah mate. It's just porn. Who cares if you watch it?

    I don't know your personal circumstances, or how much porn you use, or how often. Maybe its "too much" -- too much according to who? Some dried up impotent old fart jealous of young guys who can still get erections? Feminists who think all men are rapists? Priests who want you feeling guilty and ashamed so they can mess with your head? Fuck 'em.

    If you're unemployed and lonely and sitting at home all day choking the chicken because you've got nothing else to do, that's one thing. Well why not? What else are you going to do? Get a job in this economic climate? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.

    Maybe you could find another hobby, like bashing pensioners or encouraging 13 year old boys to cut their dicks off and call themselves "Princess Trixiebelle". There, rubbing one out over porn doesn't sound so bad compared to some of the alternatives, does it?

    Stop the short-circuited-loop in my brain with exhausting myself for a first.
