How would you rate current Western society (and the rest of the world) on a scale of 1 to 10?

I'd say we're currently at a 3.5/10. Still have Biden in charge, wokeness destroying the world, the Chinese Communist Party still exists and Islam still exists and hasn't been eradicated yet, but people are finally starting to wake up and reject these awful ideologies at least, So we're better than the 2/10 we were at in 2015 to 2021. We just need to exterminate Progressivism, Communism, Marxism, and Islam, and we'll maybe be at a 6 or 7 out of 10.

I think all the stuff you're mentioning is essentially irrelevant.

People are people and they always fight over stupid shit. The Guelphs and Ghibellines fought claw, tooth, and nail over dumb shit for centuries, killing tens of thousands of each other over questions like "Should the Holy Roman Emperor get to choose his own bishops" and "What shape should a goblet be in."

What really matters is tech. We're at the beggining of the AI era and it's going to change everything about society. Questions like "Are communists doing economics right" and "Are Muslims doing religion right" are so fucking pointless compared to "How are we going to share the world with intelligent robots?"

I'm confused by "Western Society (and the rest of the world)"... S'two pretty different things.
Western Society? I dunno, 7 out of 10? Overall good, recent drop from an 8 to a 7 due to some stupid social bickering that got out of control and governments and media that took that chance to try and dictate truth, could use less Social Media?
Whole world? Maybe a 5? Plenty of places with starvation, disease, rampant poverty, militant governments, terrorism, religious extremists... But if you threw a dart at a map you'd likely be close enough to somewhere you could live your whole life in relative peace.

... Well, you'd probably hit an ocean, and you'd need one of those maps that doesn't size the country by anything except actual size, but yeah.

Eh, I disagree and think most of the world is pretty shit; especially the Middle East, China, and North Korea, but also pretty much most of sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, as well. Places where you could "live your whole life in relative peace" are only like 15 to 20 countries at most, with the only four outside of North America and Europe being South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand (and MAYBE The Philippines, but they're pretty damn poor.) But I appreciate your opinion.
