People should be rewarded for their proper services to the nation. Not just in the sense of personal achievements but overall their actions too. One of the most valuable things related to the politics of a nation should be ethics and philosophy, but society is overall so judgemental and hostile towards contradicting narratives that most people see no value in indulging in this stuff and value money over everything else instead. Even the capitalist have a point, if it would take so much effort to make any kind of significant change, why even bother to do something about it? aren't the people who struggle against the system, fools, then? I'm not saying they are correct from an ethical point of view, I'm saying the reasoning of most people doesn't go beyond this because It's the most simple answer. Since they want to validate themselves through others so badly, they accept the values of pop culture in the end, which I see as the semantic capitalist code...

This is why philosophy and ethics should rule over society. There's simply way too much room for degeneracy of all kinds otherwise.
