Does anyone here know about smart grids? I understand they measure consumption of various energies on a person or household basis. How implemented are they in the US? I have heard them mentioned in other podcasts or various media, but haven't researched anything as of now. I'm thinking to dig around local city/county government sites, not completely sure what to look for. I'll post what I find.
