I think the many different political systems can work but, many of them fail to answer many philosophical questions, if they even embrace philosophy at all like a lot of Americans do nowadays, that seem to love to indulge in their egos and anti-Intellectualism... Despite people's fear of it, I don't think ethical certainty, even from a metaphysical point of view, is difficult to understand and carry out at all, and I think that only through religion and the embrace of these ethics can we realize our true purpose. Basically while it is possible to have good systems without it, religion is our sacred destiny and we should embrace it.
The most ideal nations should have solid institutions to promote it. It's no wonder religious groups are so heavily attacked nowadays.
