Pretty much title. I got Arthur ­­~14.5 years ago, and Célia ­­~13.5 years ago. In July, Célia died. We have, all 3 of us remaining, been in mourning of course.

And now old Arthur has begun pooping inside the house at night while we sleep. This is of course unacceptable, and we are both wondering what could be the cause of this sudden change in behavior?

I mean, we know the cause: it seems fairly obvious it's the passing of his lifelong "sister". But what can we do about it?
