I've binged all the biggies (Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sopranos, The Wire), and can't seem to settle into a new, bingeable series. Help! Give my your top 5 odd/different/off the radar shows to binge please!

Dexter is worth watching. Still the best of the American crap.

I enjoyed hell on Wheels. While I hate Disney... My daughter turned me onto the Loki series which was interesting... Definitely recommend Vikings and it's coming to Netflix.

I haven't binged Hell on Wheels in a while and I did like it. I love the look of Loki, but the plot is really all over the place. Chang can't act to save his life either. I usually binge Vikings once a year and just finished around Xmas. Last Kingdom is another good one along the same vein.

Vikings is a favorite... I try not to watch it too often so that I don't spoil it. I ruined breaking bad that way.... Won't be able to watch it again for at least half a decade.

Started watching The last Kingdom. Once something is well done as Vikings... And similar things start popping up they're usually disappointing. So far last Kingdom is not. Wanted to say thanks!

You bet! The books were great source material - The Saxon Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. He did Sharpe's Rifles too.

Warrior is a fantastic period Kung Fu drama set in turn of the century SF. The fighting choreography is top tier. And the acting and storylines are just as good. It's an HBO show but just got picked up by Netflix.

Honestly, it's a 'comfort' show for me these days, even after all these years I still go back to it and love almost each and every episode.

Try to find PrisonBreak somewhere. Wentworth Miller in the early 00s...great stuff!

First season was great, but if I recall, it got silly towards the end. Still, good suggestion.
