I am not familiar with this actress. Are you a fan of hers? Or a fan of Blade Runner? I watched the original Blade Runner multiple times.

It was a sad love story. I thought it was ironic that we, the viewers of the movie, knew the replicants had to die.... and I began to have sympathy for them, but doesn't death also await us mortals? It's rare to see any man exceed 120 years in this physical shell. As it is written, man is appointed to die once, and then the judgment....

She's a Malaysian actress, but she's made inroads into Hollywood. I loved Blade Runner. I thought Blade Runner 2049 managed to pull it off without ruining the original movie, though it's not the iconic piece of cinema the first one is. I'm going to hold off making any preconceived notions about this series. It could suck, it could be good. She's a good actress, and it seems like they're not just doing a remake with a race and gender swapped character, so I'm hopeful for that.

She did Phillipa Georgiou on Star Trek Discovery and is slated to make a Section 31 movie.
