Is there a question here to debate?

It’s more data! How does this whole GI thing work? It’s weird!

I’ll have to disagree that it’s data.

Either way, the sub isn’t a data collection pool. Do you have a question for debate or discussion?

I mean if the mods want to delete it they can. Seems at least on topic if other trans peeps want to talk about there experiences of this phenomenon, given that most GC doubt the existence of GI. Hey that could be the “debate”!

Mkay. I can’t take you seriously when you’re stoned. Shouldn’t have tried to engage.

Boo ethnocentric! Entheogens have been used for thousands of years by cultures across the globe, and its only comparatively recently that their reputation has fallen and most of that was due to moralistic fear mongering by imperialistic western governments.

Excuse me?

I’m an ethnocentric imperialist fear monger because I don’t enjoy engaging with you, particularly when you’re high?

You are not a culture. You are however, needlessly insulting and weirdly insistent that I’m some mega racist. Clearly you are not able to interact with me without behaving like this.

Sorry I tried to treat you like a peer.

Can you elaborate?

What is the aim of this thread?

Also Heimdekledi, try not to immediately jump to accusations of bigotry.

Feelings of self assessment relative to other people are stronger if there are other people around for comparison. Yes. That is not code switching. Code switching is when you change how you communicate depending on which people you are with.

At first I thought "High Observation" meant you were observing something from an elevated level of thinking, not that you were literally high 😂 this whole post and some of these comments make a lot more sense now.

If gender identity were performative, then maybe code-switching would be an aspect of it dependent on who one was interacting with or the context of any given interaction. But if one perceives oneself as belonging to the other sex, I'm not sure that any code switching would have anything to do with gender identity. Are you thinking that a woman may feel like more of a woman in some social scenarios, or a man may feel more like a man? I think I might understand what you're getting at, but I'm not really sure.

I feel we notice gender roles more in groups because it’s a very social thing, but I don’t think that’s what you mean. Can you explain?

I have an opposite experience. My anxiety and such is higher but I’m thinking about my body less when I am engaged or socializing.
