I am not a radical feminist, I don't agree with everything radical feminists stand for, but banning a sub just because they aren't woke enough for them? That point out the flaws of the transgender movement and disagree with it?

Even though I don't agree with everything that they say, it was really interesting to see the perspective of feminists and left leaning people who don't believe in gender idenitity politics and transgender ideology and lesbians who have a problem with the transgender community. There was a lot of interesting things there that even someone who is not a radical feminist, and even disagrees with points that radical feminism can look into.

It is messed up seeing an active community with meaningful discussion, with years of discussion just being banned without warning, for "hate speech" and "bigotry", or in other words, recognizing that what makes someone a man and women is biology, not identity.

Seriously, fuck Reddit

I realize humanity has never been great about being able to cordially discuss contentious topics. But it's gotten so much worse in recent years. It's just incredible to see "progressives" scream about fighting fascism and then turn around and use these tactics. It may be just a corner of the Left that's turning totalitarian, but they're the ones successfully influencing the media, government and business.

It's a terrible feeling to be politically homeless.

It's easy. Just label those you are fighting with as fascists, and then anything goes.

The thing about radfems is they're kind of a downer in general but the more you listen the more theyre just goddamn correct. You eventually have to agree, yes, pornography is bad and watching it is a bad thing to do. Prostitution is an evil thing even in countries where women 'freely choose it'. Drag is womanface. Wearing make up holds us all back even if it's "a fun hobby" for you. It's not a fun perspective, but it's just right.

Not sure I consider myself a radical feminist either but r/GC provided tons of support by women, for women on many other issues OTHER than trans stuff. It was one of the few places where women were validated instead of being gaslit all the time. That's what so many non-readers don't get about the sub.
