True Lesbians wasn't even a GC sub, it was just sub for lesbians. And the mods even tried changing the rules to accommodate the new Reddit rules but clearly that wasn't enough, according to Reddit us lesbians can't have our own subreddit unless we worship the almighty girldick. Pure homophobia.

That's really messed up - they almost never even discussed trans issues in there. It was almost entirely about feeling isolated as black and brown women within radical feminism - you'd think that would be both allowed and actively supported right now.

I feel like this is really not a bad thing. This ban wave is going to get people talking and a lot of people who didn't know anything about this are going to see how extreme this bullshit is with all women subs and women health subs being banned. This is actually just the visibility we need to the whole insanity. Just my 2c.

ETA: r/JoeRogan went private. He's got what? Like half a million subs? This is going to get people talking. I hope he talks about the on his podcast and peak a million people.

This ban wave has prompted me to start an account here and begin to contribute

Before, I had radfem subreddits bookmarked to look at occasionally. I never subscribed or posted, just lurked. I'm now more "terfy"

Banning truelesbians was the last straw. There are plenty of trans subs and plenty of general gay and LGBT subs which are full of trans people

What's so wrong with wanting our own space? For fucks sake it's like we're driven back into the old days of meeting in secret
