Their body is not designed to support a uterus, so they'd die. LOL, have fun dudes. Never gonna happen. They sure do get excited over cannibalizing women' bodies, though. Huh.

Let's also ignore that handmaidens would also gladly throw their organs on this pyre. Ugh.

A friend of mine recently peaked and it’s been so great to see her reclaim her power and stop putting her trans and gender fluid “friends” on a pedestal above herself as a person. Women need to keep fighting and empowering others to not be fucking handmaidens.

What caused her to peak? I'm always curious the different pathways people take to get here.

She got some space away from a toxic friend group due to COVID-19 and realized they thrived on negativity, and she felt used by them and creeped out by their thought policing. I know one person constantly sexualized her and compared himself to her, he even got in a fight with her when she hooked up with someone he liked and blamed her cis privilege insisting that they should “share” men even if the man was straight ugh-and the others always got into dramatic arguments over identity politics. It was mentally fatiguing for me to be around them and once she had a break she kind of woke up to what kind of people they are and what they represented.

Definitely sounds cult-like and like once she found time and space to breathe and think for herself, she reactivated her own critical thinking skills they didn't want her to exercise.

That's what creeps me out the most. Like they're entitled to have them! All of these cases pretty much were one sister who didn't want to have children giving her uterus to her sister who couldn't have children. They're MAJOR surgeries and I think only 9 or something have been successful in producing a child. Still, it was enough for TiMs to think it was for THEM.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Even the electricity require to do all of this dumb shit is a waste of resources. If this is what humans think is a cool plan I don’t think we are gonna be around long

[–][deleted] 25 insightful - 1 fun25 insightful - 0 fun26 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Even if we ignore the logistics of making that happen, it's unethical on so many levels and unsafe.

[–]Aquadog[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

The transplanting procedure itself is dangerous. I mean, I understand some siblings being okay with experiments but what about organ rejection?

[–]GCSeedling 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I recall that the uterus is temporary, and is implanted and removed before and after pregnancy. Obviously that doesn't account for organ rejection, I'm just putting it out there that it's not supposed to be permanent...yet.

[–]Overdrive 25 insightful - 2 fun25 insightful - 1 fun26 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Jesus christ just adopt.

[–][deleted] 17 insightful - 1 fun17 insightful - 0 fun18 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

For real. It’s beyond narcissism. These nutcases shouldn’t be having kids, period, not adopting either. Think about how insane you have to be to do this? You sibling could die. You could die. Your baby will likely die. All so you can have a baby. Psycho. What dream are they even chasing? The world is on fire and this is their focus.

[–]Aquadog[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

My guess is an unsupportive partner who wanted his genes in the babies. Confirmation bias, but while I see woman grieve much more over issues with fertility and are more excited to go through the process of motherhood, they also have an easier time getting to know adoptive child vs. a man.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I Think people this hell-bent on having babies are unethical to the core. Like, figure something else out. It’s insane.

[–]Literallyawoman 21 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 0 fun22 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

It’s so creepy the way these men fetishize having female organs.

[–][deleted] 21 insightful - 2 fun21 insightful - 1 fun22 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

It's the same type of obsessiveness that serial killers that target women have.

[–]Aquadog[S] 15 insightful - 6 fun15 insightful - 5 fun16 insightful - 6 fun -  (2 children)

It puts the lotion on its skin.

[–]Catbug 14 insightful - 9 fun14 insightful - 8 fun15 insightful - 9 fun -  (0 children)

It puts its uterus in the fuckin basket!!

[–]bellatrixbells 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

damn you stole my joke hahaha !

[–]Catbug 20 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 0 fun21 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They’d need to undergo massive rerouting of their vascular system, need some ligaments to hold the uterus in place, and laxity in their ligaments to allow for the growth of a fetus, either a new pelvis or a Symphysiotomy, a magic fetus that can withstand all the anti-rejection drugs and hormone cocktails, and gods know what else.

The people who believe it will happen are just painfully dumb.

[–]Belisarius 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

this. it will never happen.

[–][deleted] 18 insightful - 4 fun18 insightful - 3 fun19 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Don't sweat it. Shit won't work out.

God, this is legit bringing to mind imagery of Abominations from World of Warcraft with boob jobs and an errant uterus sticking out of their upper thigh.

[–]msteacherlady 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They do not respect us. Their thinking is reductive and shallow. It never occurs to them how intensely complex women are because they've been fixated on pinups for the majority of civilization. A few get it for a half second when they whine "why are women so complicated?" Because making life is complicated you moron. And it's dangerous, and it's precious. Even the stupidest woman on earth, completely unaware of how her body works, can do something that modern engineering can't even touch.

[–]Delia 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I wish doctors who actually deliver babies would put them in their place.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

They would probably have their medical licenses shat out of existence.

[–]Aquadog[S] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

They would whine about not being able to get an appointment with a GYN in the first place.

[–]Belisarius 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Eh they don't even have the right chromosomes. No uterine wall means no placenta means no umbillical cord. I doubt it'll ever happen TBH

[–]luckystar 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

This is a bit of a tangient from OP but, I get ads for egg donation and surrogacy on FB sometimes and it's just so disgusting. How is that legal?! You can't sell a kidney can you? Why is it okay to sell body parts as long as they are female body parts?

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I get ads for birth control, and I've had a tubal ligation. Their ads are stupid.

You can sell sperm and plasma in the US. Women are born with our eggs, and the process for retrieving them requires an OR visit, unless things changed from 15 years ago (they probably did). Typically they're dosed up on a cocktail of a prescriptions to increase the amount of eggs ready to be viable, and then retrieve them with the tiniest cannula. They're vetted pretty heavily on medical and psychological history and have them go through more evaluations to make sure that it's something they understand and truly want to do, same with the parents receiving.

"At birth, there are approximately 1 million eggs; and by the time of puberty, only about 300,000 remain. Of these, only 300 to 400 will be ovulated during a woman's reproductive lifetime."

[–]Aquadog[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Having known someone who did the process, "vetting" them is a copy of their medical forms and a questionnaire. That's it.

I've heard so many accounts of women who now are wondering if they're going to be at an increased risk for ovarian/breast/cervical cancer, fertility issues, and a sense of loss-did her eggs go to a good family? Is it ethical that there is more of "her" in the world?

The whole thing is terrifying.

[–]GCSeedling 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Nothing seems like it will be enough to satisfy their desires. If they really cared about the kids they could potentially bear, they just wouldn't do it. There are so many unforeseen consequences of this that no sane person would go through with it.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It’s not going to happen. The world will be flooded with water before that happens. Or on fire. Or both. Plus it’s way too unethical and creepy

[–]blahblahgcer 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Everyone I know was celebrating because apparently trans women can finally have babies because a uterus transplant worked!!!

Spoiler alert: it was an actual woman with a genetic disorder that left her with no uterus. And she had it removed right after the pregnancy. And there were lots of failures before that.

[–]bellatrixbells 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Also. Ok, so a TIM gets a somehow functioning uterus and manages to get pregnant. Ok, how does he give birth ? Through his neovagina ? That thing will rip and not just at the seams... ! C-section it is then ? So doctors would be made to spend time attending a c-section for a TIM, neglecting actual women at the same time ? Also, Jesus, why ?!

[–]Amareldys 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They haven't even implanted a vagina, I wouldn't worry about it.

[–]Aquadog[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's more the idea of, "we made a medical breakthrough for these very specific issues with very specific people that can have impacts on wider parts of medicine" vs. "I can now be a real woman, just let me have your womb."

[–]EvaWumben 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Wow. It's almost like they're not really wooooomben if they have to even ask.

They really ask? Peak trans the world.

This (sadly) is one of the reasons I've considered removing myself from the organ donor list. I don't even know if putting in my will that my organs must go to a female XX person would hold up.

[–]Liz-B-Anne 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

lol. The thought of a man having an actual uterus that sheds its lining painfully each month is hilarious to me. And terrifying. The manflu is real & I can't imagine what manPMS would be like. Some would probably go on actual killing sprees like the "It's Ma'am" dude almost did. These crybabies can't handle a stubbed toe, let alone a hormone-induced migraine or period cramps.

But I'm pretty sure that would never work for them anyway. Their anatomy is not made for a uterus and it wouldn't even connect to the "vagina" in a way that could produce a baby, but I could see some Dr. Frankenstein attempting it for clout. "Doctor performs world's first uterus transplant on transwoman!" Can you imagine the asspats that would garner? Almost as many as BEING the first TIM with a uterus! A narcissist's dream.

TiMs wanting an implanted uterus

Just to be clear, at the moment this is not possible. It has never been tried. All uterus transplants have been to women. Whether it could be possible in the future, seems to a a divisive topic among physicians.

[–]Hard_headed_woman 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Woman to woman uterine transplants was just discussed on BBC Women's Hour.

[–]Aquadog[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Any insights?

[–]Hard_headed_woman 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You can probably hear the podcast now. Basically 1) More success with live donors - mostly mothers who donate their uterus to their daughters. 2) The uterus is removed after having 2 children, if I understood that correctly. 3) Everything is put on hold due to COVID-19. 4) Never once mentioned transplants in male bodies. :)

[–]inneedofspace 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

For me if I’m being honest it’s less a feminist issue and more of a stop trying to replace women I guess we had it coming when some people tried to replace sperm with bone marrow etc etc the battle of the sexes is really getting out of hand it feels like a rush to erase the other.

With that out of the way it is concerning knowing that the black market will exploit at risk girls and women for their uterus, it’s not just transwomen, men as a whole have been trying to implant uterus into the male body for a long time and I just hope I’m not alive to see it, women are the only people who are going to suffer from a move like this and yeah if transmen are willing to give up their uterus that’s their business but females are goi g to deal with the fallout men have no issues enslaving the female body to do things like this, I hate when men make decisions that affect us.

The way things are going this might be the only incentive for medicine to take a more in-depth look into the female body some days I really hate being a woman.
