I find it truly anger inducing when women apologize for their speech. Men don't apologize. And accept my virtual applause for your restraint. Great post!

Men don't apologize

Ah, this. I have not seen a single comic made by a man where a TiF starts aggressively commenting and whining how they are "left out" (let's say, because of something like prostate cancer and how they feel so undermined as men now because they cannot biologically have prostate cancer. And I checked: cancer of the female prostate is rare - 0.003 percent of cancers in the female genital-urinary tract).

I wonder... I truly wonder... what is the cause of this women-cancellation?! (Extra hint: apparently, it's a lot of other women as well who fell hook, line and sinker into this pseudo-libfem talk. HNGGGG.)

Pudding heads I cant 😂. I feel you on that I lose so much respect for women who crawl backwards over coals to pander to these AGP men.

Pudding heads

My new favourite "slur" for sure, hahah. Anyway - I feel like you do with regards to losing respect for especially women in this madness. But I tend to also think they're not even remotely aware of what is really going on. The artist in question seems to be in her 20s, and is probably one of those bleeding-heart liberals who sees this whole trans ideology as the new gay rights movement (which, we know, it of course is not).

I don't expect everyone to educate themselves about this and understand the sinister erasure of womanhood that is happening in the shadows. Yet it is VERY disappointing to see so few people (women, in this instance especially) actively looking into the whole mess. Everything is taken by face value, and if it's deemed progressive then hell yeah! All aboard! TWAW! (Another good reason to drop the T from LGBT... there is nothing progressive in this whatsoever.)

Also, the healthcare business in the U.S. is rotten to say the least and Big Pharma is greedily, endlessly searching for new victims. A good example is the opioid crisis. It took years for anyone to start opening their eyes and even so, that hardly helps the people who are already addicted - far less those who lost their lives to this addiction, and their families.

Pushing T to teenagers is just another one of BP's dirty tactics, and immoral "doctors" and "therapists" are happily agreeing that a teenage patient's self-assessment is all that is needed for them to start receiving hormone blockers and/or T, even when we know that there is NO long-term data regarding the risks - or even if it is reversible should one decide to stop taking said substances (something they keep touting with absolutely zero studies to back it up).

I'm relieved that in my country healthcare is mainly public (although we do of course have private clinics as well) and that it was recently decided that NOBODY can simply start shoving T or HB into their bodies before they've gone through a psychological assessment.

But I digress. The crisis will keep growing and growing.... until, when maybe in 5-10 years the first victims will start realizing they were terribly mislead and their lives and bodies were irreversibly damaged/ruined. It's saddening and maddening and hopeless.

Edit: grammar

In other words, if you previously had a uterus and then had a hysterectomy, but continued experiencing period pain, that would be phantom period pain. As my brain and spinal cord have never been attached to a prostate, I could never experience phantom prostrate pain, much like these men do not experience any sensation produced by a uterus, and are highly unlikely ever to do so.

Touché. TiM’s robbing (yet another) actual medical term for themselves is not surprising but man, is it infuriating.

[–]InvisibleWoman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Absolutely. I've even seen TIMs calling dysphoria PMDD ughhhh

[–]vitunrotta[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh are you serious. (I know you are, that was a stupid rhetorical question...)

Yeah, let’s just let them have the entire medical field and vocabulary regarding women! They are what they say they are and don’t you incite VIOLENCE by stating facts!

No. NO. 😡

Also their "period pain" is trapped gas. They're men thinking their upset stomach means their non-existant uterus is shedding lining.

So what you’re saying is... the solution to TRA’s “period pains” is... FARTING? Next time I see one of these conceited (and constipated) wackadoos whining about their non-existing pains, I’ll just advise them to let one rip. 😂 Perfection.

They already call their medical transition "hormone replacement therapy", so why not go further using the same logic?

They're going to wait for eons before I apologize for discussing periods. If they didn't like what I said, then I guess they didn't like what I said. This coddling and enabling behavior needs to go. I would have unfollowed too!

[–]vitunrotta[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes, yes, and yes. Every little thing counts. I feel like I should send a PM to the actual artist - not blaming her for anything but trying to, err... make her see sense, because her original art was NOT wrong nor hurtful or "violent" in any way or form, and there was no need for her to start apologizing and pandering to these self-absorbed people.

Unsure if I should do this or not, and how to go about it.

[–]PressSnoozeWoke 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I understand... my concern if you PM her is that she may report you for "hate speech" or something of that sort. If you do PM her, watch your wording and let her know that periods are an experience for millions of women and not to be too hard on herself. I don't know who she is, so I will refrain from other suggestions. It's tricky, because sometimes it's not even worth the PM or interaction. Best of luck.

Sickening that women are holding up these men's delusions and appeals for pity and attention. Ugh

[–]vitunrotta[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I suppose for this specific independent artist it's crucial to be a bootlicker - she may already know what happens to people who don't start pandering instantly.

As for the others, especially celebrities and other affluent people: no excuses. They're just riding a fashionable wave and collecting their Woke points. Pathetic.
