Not even non-binary people know what it is, they never able to explain. It is just "not like others", "I am special".

Actually even better: https://ovarit.com/o/TransLogic/4701/nonbinaries-have-mind-dysphoria

Yup. They can't explain it. I know an Enby who says crap like, "It is not the responsibility of non-binary people to educate privileged cis people about what being non-binary means."

Luckily us PEOPLE don't give a fuck about whatever your fucked up definition of yourself is. To me you're either a woman or a man, no matter what type of dress up you play.

They think like: "I am slightly smart, this is not what gender stereotype is saying about women, so I am non-binary or trans, because women can't be smart by this ideology".

I know two women who've decided they're non-binary. Read - relatively flat chested and into sports. Both of them are in longterm hetero relationships with dudes. Like...come one. Your boyfriend is not fucking your gender identity.

Non-binary is the most bull-shit thing ever. x'D

'Privileged cis people' that could claim they were non-binary in the next moment and be suddenly oppressed. Like there is no criteria for their bs and they know it.

"trans in mind, but not in body"

sigh I wish I was born much earlier.

As an older person, do you think I enjoy watching all this nonsense happen?

[–]TruBi 21 insightful - 11 fun21 insightful - 10 fun22 insightful - 11 fun -  (4 children)

It means that when you were a kid you played grand theft auto and also dressed up barbies. Therefore, you are neither gender.

I made my mom run over my barbie doll with her SUV. What does this say about my gender?

[–]denverkris 14 insightful - 11 fun14 insightful - 10 fun15 insightful - 11 fun -  (0 children)

Budding serial killer?

[–]denverkris 11 insightful - 3 fun11 insightful - 2 fun12 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I played grand theft auto AND put together my sisters' barbie dream house. What does that make me?

A threat to gender ideology!

People who either got too much, or not, enough attention from their parents.

See also, Fame Whores.

Teen me would 100 percent have been non-binary. It just means you're a normal person who feels Not Like The Others to some degree because you don't 100 percent align with some of the things society is telling you people with your genitals should be like.

[–]megumi 10 insightful - 3 fun10 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I'm trying to think of who isn't non-binary then. Just people with a really strong fixation on performative gender stereotypes? Like men who won't admit they cried during The Notebook?

[–]Shesstealthy 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly. Everyone is.

I think the definition means people who don't "strongly identify" with either male or female. Which I would imagine is probably a majority of people.

[–]denverkris 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Especially since you can't identify as a male or a female, you either are or you are not.

[–]materialrealityplz 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think you mean the stereotypes of femininity and masculinity that society expects people to perform. Female is just your biological sex. I don't identify with it or not, it just is. I'm a woman cause I was born female and now I'm an adult.

[–]Madsea 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It is the modern “not like other girls.”

I think porn culture is a huge cause on both sides of it, but for different reasons with each sex.

[–]materialrealityplz 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Truly... men are trying to become the embodiment of porn and women are trying to run the fuck away from what is says about them.

[–]SharpTomorrow 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It doesn't mean anything, it's like "gender fluid". It's just something people put on their Twitter profile with their pronouns in order to get "woke" points and claim they are "marginalized".

[–]NemoRina 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

"I've seen how society treats my sex and I want out". GNC with extra steps. If it's a female enby, it goes with a splash of internal misogyny.

Funny that they think it works that way. You just say "I'm not a woman", and magically you're not one anymore. Postmodernistic crap.

[–]Anoki 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Special snowflakes who say they are interesting, by adopting a glitzy gender identity

[–]materialrealityplz 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

People who think not fitting in is some super special thing that can be used as an oppression hammer to beat people with.

There have been gender non-conforming and just generally people that didn't fit in society forever. Non-binaries are just people who need to feel oppressed too, following the trend of victimhood having status in the era of online social justice and wokies.

[–]grixit 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

"non binary" is just a fancy way of saying "normal".

[–]WanderingWonder 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

A joke. Simple as that.

In reality, probably some variant of dissociative identity disorder.
