I refuse to use terms such as "gender," "gender stereotypes" and "gender diversity." Instead, I'd say much more plainly that rejecting sex stereotypes means accepting and promoting human diversity.

Humans naturally come in a variety of sizes, shapes, skin colors, with different hair shades and texture, and with a huge variation in personalities. Through history, and across cultures, humans have also showed huge variations in clothing or costume choice, hair styles, use of cosmetics and adornments, body modifications and so on.

But those who say they promote the misnomered "gender diversity" don't want humans to display the type of diversity that long has been the norm. They actually want to force everyone to be pigeonholed in very narrow, constricting boxes based not just on strict sex stereotypes - but on a particular set of strict sex stereotypes, namely the extremely regressive pink and blue set of sex stereotypes characteristic of consumerist Western culture in the 21st century and heavily promoted by the porn industry and corporations like Disney, Mattel, Revlon, etc, the mass media and internet platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, reddit, Instagram, TikTok...

The sex stereotypes the gender vendors promote do not hold true of all human cultures across all time. What today's gender vendors - including the DQSH crowd - are promoting is a new kind of world order where everyone on earth must come under the sway of a tyrannical hegemony that is imperialist, male supremacist and utterly conformist.

So-called "gender diversity" is actually about erasing human diversity.

In general, all this talk of "gender" is bollocks, which you seem to have realized already, OP. If you entirely eschew the terms "gender" and "gender identity" and instead stick to speaking plainly of sex, sexism and sex stereotypes the way we did before today's genderism reared its head, the entire topic becomes much clearer - and all the contradictions are exposed.

My short answer is no. My impression of this drag queen story thing in my country is that it is well-meaning "cishet" people trying to promote "diversity" with very little thought, and drag queens doing whatever they get paid for.

I believe we should just get rid of genders and let people be whoever they want to be without slapping unnecessary labels on them.

I would assume they mean gender role diversity. Although I don't know for sure. Do the drag queens read stories about transgender characters?

Drag queen story hour at base is an attempt to groom children for sex with adults. They use language skimmed from civil rights movements to disguise the true goal.

I have never promoted the idea of "gender diversity", only individual freedom of preferences.
