That's pretty much how it actually is. The left spent four years accusing Trump of being a fascist dictator; he must have been the nicest one ever, since he didn't throw any of his critics in prison or make then simply vanish, you know, shit that happens in ACTUAL fascist dictatorships. They, however, will ruin your life if you dare to oppose them and claim they are "fighting fascism" which isn't actually there to be fought but it sounds good.

I think I've heard this company in news previously, with dozens or hundreds of sexual assaults on women in it. It is clear that they don't care about women at all.

As one of the other voices in the game, let me go on record to say that I'm incensed by this. Whether you agree with Helen's views on trans issues or not, they are legitimate debate and she is entitled to hold and express them.

She wasn't even discussing any of those issues here. A little Twitter mob got excited and now she is simply cancelled.

What utter cowardice. The silencing of someone on all issues, even analysis of a fictional political universe, because people disagreed with what they said on another issue.

Just absolutely abysmal. And worst of all, in an anti-fascist game. Wiping away someone's voice in a software update: the digital equivalent of burning books.

Nope, they're for it, but claim they are engaging in the behavior for morally superior reasons to create their woke utopia.

All authoritarian movements justify their actions on moral grounds, often on real grievances as well, often target the young and idealistic. But people seem blind to that. They seem think the people who are openly arseholes are the problem when those types never cling on to power too long (they don't like the responsibility and are happy to let someone else clean up their mess).
