Sooo, if you’re shit at maths or notice human faces you have mega lady brain but if you played outside and don’t notice loose threads on coats you’re a regular man. And tra still makes a surprised pikachu face every time they’re called out for the obsessive adherence to good old fashion gender norms

What a load of crap, about five questions about math. My lady brain loves math, but I suspect that the TIMs think liking it is a male thing.

Apparently I am a feminine male, and not likely to need medical intervention. Such a relief!

Time for your double mastectomy and testosterone injections, sir.

I will have to inform my robotics engineer wife that she is, in fact, a man. Can't have women good at maths! We're too dumb for that!

I couldn’t get through it. I gave up after that question about why they’d dress ‘en femme.’

Dudes, wearing a skirt doesn’t “make me feel better” or “arouse me.” It feels the exact same as wearing pants. Only difference is that skirts are more available to me because they are the easiest to shop for. For pants, I have to buy them from specialty tall people stores and I have to factor in the cost of getting the waist tailored. I don’t get this headache from skirts.

Oh no, now how will you ever find out if you're a woman?

[–]Omina_Sentenziosa 16 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 0 fun17 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

That' s the same point I gave up, too.

I only wear skirts in summer because it' s too hot to wear pants. That' s it. I wonder what my gender identity is according to this revelation.

After discovering 1800s deep portable pockets, I’ve been really digging gathered skirts (after making an opening for the pocket access). Nobody knows I have pockets and my stuff is hidden by the fullness of the skirt. No more watching annoying purses. Phone, wallet, keys, transit pass, and snacks are all in my pockets. It’s so liberating to be hands free and not having to hold my purse protectively.

But in winter/autumn/spring, that would require tights, a personal nemesis. I hate having to use bags or backpacks as well, but it' s still better than freaking tights or leggings.

[–]Marigold-plate 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I hate tights too. I wear over knee socks. The skirts are at knee or to my shins. For colder weather, I wear wool skirts, and paired with my long coat and knee high boots, 5*C weather is warm. (If the over knee socks didn’t get detained for months in Canada Post system, I could have checked it out at colder temperatures before winter was practically over.)

I plan on experimenting for colder temperatures this year (I have more ideas after delving into historical research). I absolutely hate wearing snow pants to keep warm in -15*C mornings. They are hard to move in, especially when I’m climbing over snowbanks piled up over the pedestrian side walks.

Yeah, that was one of the hardest questions to answer for me, as a boring born-female person. My clothes don't make me feel any particular way, and I have no idea what that's even supposed to mean. Yet their "clothing feelings" make them women, exactly like me? ...yeah, sure dudes.

Math class is hard = Woman

[–]Anoki 19 insightful - 2 fun19 insightful - 1 fun20 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Wow , this test is a cliche of womanhood

[–]MarkTwainiac 18 insightful - 1 fun18 insightful - 0 fun19 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

OMG, what a bunch of BS. These people are so incredibly sexist and regressive.

[–]ArthnoldManacatsaman 14 insightful - 5 fun14 insightful - 4 fun15 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

Huh. Today I learned that female mathematicians are like leprechauns.

[–]PressSnoozeWoke 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

What kind of sexist b.s. is this? Just another day of nonsense. I will never respect any of this.

[–]our_team_is_winning 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Some of those questions will give a misleading answer when answered by a woman. Like "live a week as a woman" -- been there, done that!

But I got -30, minus 30, and told I'm androgyne.

I'm gonna say like most people? Some women are good at math, some guys are lousy at directions, some women don't like to hug strangers, some men like to talk.... That was disturbing.

[–]LasagnaRossa 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I got the same result. Many questions were so stupid! And whoever made this quiz wasn't a woman, since mamy answers lacked true female perspective.

[–]yousaythosethings 13 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

A few questions in and it's pretty clear I'm mangender in their eyes based on the sexist stereotypes they're pushing. No dudes, I'm a lesbian and quite a femme one like you want to be, which is why this is so funny.

But this is also a fascinating look into their thought process and what they think about women.

[–]Penguinberri 13 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Sooo many stereotype. Can you park well, do you like maths, did you like to play make believe or sports as a kid.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 9 fun9 insightful - 8 fun10 insightful - 9 fun -  (1 child)

You are at a meeting. Everyone at the meeting is the same sex as you. The leader of the meeting announces that it's time for hugs all around! How do you feel about this?

What in the

[–]lefterfield 10 insightful - 5 fun10 insightful - 4 fun11 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

Right? My reaction was, um... can I speak to HR please? What does that have to do "gender?"

[–]purrvana 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

All my friends who like unprompted hugging the most are trans, which is setting alarm bells off in my head right now. it's interesting that there's so much about hugging/touching in this quiz.

Also, music turns me on . It's interesting that music wasn't even an option for "erotic material", especially since there was so much focus on listening (e.g. recognizing voices, hearing noises from far away, etc.)

[–]MarkTwainiac 13 insightful - 2 fun13 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

That hugging stuff is creepy. I also picked up on the fact that music wasn't an option for "erotic material." Music is what gets me in the mood too. I credit Bryan Ferry with inventing the sexy, feel-good hormone Roxytocin.

[–]eddyelric 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

People get aroused by music? That's new to me.

[–]Comatoast 8 insightful - 4 fun8 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

I got a 55. What do I win? Male privilege when I want?

[–]WrongToy 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Sixty five questions. I got through 17 before I gave up.

No i can't do spatial relations, but if i did it wouldn't make me a man any more than my sister is. No I don't read faces or remember them all that well, which is what I guess men do. I have never been turned on by my own body so what kind of question is this.

I am an adult female human with a female reproductive system, and that is what makes me a woman.

If someone has a male reproductive system, they're at best a male living as a woman.

[–]our_team_is_winning 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Some of those questions repeated and there were typos! I'm often a sucker for lame internet quizzes. I guess that makes me female according to them? I was just waiting to see what dumb shit they'd ask next. The one about the rotating barbell was a waste, as were all those "you wake up in a world where there are no men or women and you can dress how you like...." tl;dr These men are sick.

[–]lefterfield 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The rotating barbell one was stupid. I can visual stuff like that perfectly despite my vagina, but they don't explain what "rotate" means. Is it a full rotation or 180 degrees? What is it supposed to prove either way?

[–]3MistersAndAMissy 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

That was my lady brains question too!!!

I looked at the answer options and figured they meant 180.

There were two that had the red on top and blue on bottom, like if it was a 180 spin.

If you slam your fist on the table and say ‘I am sure the red cube is on top’ you are male.

If you demurely say ‘I don’t know, maybe the blue is on the bottom’ and then hide behind your Victorian fan you are female.

[–]lefterfield 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

LOL :D

The problem is they don't go into a full rotation when describing the barbell. So a reasonable person could assume that they want you to rotate it to the same degree they did in the description - 180. Then I saw the answers and started second guessing myself, like a FEMALE. But I believe I eventually said eff it, slammed my fist on the table, and went with red. So... non-binary?

[–]3MistersAndAMissy 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I’m not sure. 😂

We need a second questionnaire that goes into the Starhorse gender etc.

[–]Wandering_Idiot 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

"You are parking your car. You must reverse into a somewhat narrow space to park. What do you do?"

I guess being a women I have to jackknife it and take out several cars in the process of parking... because women can't drive apparently unless you have a man brain.

[–]3MistersAndAMissy 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, you are just lucky your husband is kind enough to let you drive...../s

[–]SilverSlippers 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I got -100, whatever the hell that means. The questions were very stereotyped. Being a woman according to this test consists of: dressing pretty, being empathic, and being bad at math. No mention or any real concerns that most natal women have. Plus weird questions about sexual arousal and hugging.

[–]gendercritfem[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Well if you got -100, you're obviously not a woman, and so you don't get to say what a woman is or isn't /s

[–]dradra 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh wow that website is a trip..how did this sexist regressive BS get this far? like seriously wtf!?

[–]TheOnyxGoddess 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I scored -60 and got classified as androgynous. The entire thing is sexist. I guess not like hugging makes me a man.

[–]xxPhoenixRising 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

I'm surprised it wasn't written in comic sans cuz it was surely written for clown world

[–]hfxB0oyA 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I put in a bunch of random answers and it classified me as androgynous. :D

[–]QueenBread 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

"Women are bad at maths and think that feeeeeeeeeelings are important."

There, I summed up the test for y'all. I'm surprised there was no question about frequently swooning, but perhaps I missed it since I didn't bother reading it all.

[–]3MistersAndAMissy 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Also if you’re female you answer ‘like um maybe I think it’s green’ or whine it’s too hard a question

[–]devushka 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I got -10 so I'm apparently androgyne. 🤷‍♀️

[–]3MistersAndAMissy 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is the best find!!!

‘How much do you stereotype women?’

Thank you.

[–]eddyelric 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Lol, just finished and got an androgynous(3) being. That's not surprising to me.

[–]gendercritfem[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Time to change your name to Edna and identify as nonbinary, I guess. I mean, you are into human transmutation, right?

[–]eddyelric 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Lol, it's not like human transmutation has permanent consequences to your life!
