Women are going to have different views on politics, that's just the nature of not being a hivemind sex. I can appreciate men understanding issues that we face, or at least making an effort if it's genuine. The problem is with that whole ingenuity thing being so damn prevalent. My hackles go up every time a man talks about being a feminist, and I'm immediately brought to wonder how he's benefitting from what he's "fighting for" in the name of feminism. Women being porn, prostitution and kink positive? Wow, what a fucking surprise that they would be supportive. I can hear the crunching of the cum sock from here. Gross.

That's what peaked me in regards to liberal/feminist men. Endless arguing over even the most basic female rights, constant downplaying and excusing of misogyny, historical revisionism, endless playing of "devil's advocate" no mater how senseless and illogical, excusing slurs and stereotypes and performing mental gymnastics over them, still demanding women walk on eggshells lest they use the "misandrist!" card on them...but getting more women to revolve their entire livelihood and sexuality around pandering to their dicks? That gets a resounding consensus every single time.

Is this written by a straight woman? I hope so because straight feminists roll their eyes at lesbians who say anything like this:

Good Guys have long been a problem for feminism. The desire for allies and supporters have led women to valorize men who talk the talk. In the West, increased political polarization offering the semblance of only two options — left vs right — has left modern feminists with the impression not only that they must choose, but that there is an easy and obvious choice. Give us Matt McGorry in a “This is What a Feminist Looks Like” t-shirt and tell us you love abortions, and far too many feminists swoon. We should have learned the hard way, many times over, that guys who declare goodness through their political proclamations are often not only the least good, but the most gross.

I was looking at "pussy hats" photos recently and saw (white) men wearing them... I cringed so hard. Male allies make my skin crawl. https://antzinpantz.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/swedish-construction-worker-pussy-hats.jpg

Meghan Murphy is straight as far as I know. I'm straight, too, and I also think that backstabbing pseudoprogressives are more dangerous than the ones like Trump. At least for the latter group you know what kind of BS you can expect. I feel this way for politics in general, not only feminism.

The only people in real life who have called me a TERF are men (former friends) who call themselves "male feminists". One literally has that written in his twitter bio.

I didn't realize how scummy they were until I started posting gender critical stuff on my facebook page or commenting on their pearl-clutching posts about JK Rowling. Having them tell me the "new" definition of woman is the only time I've legitimately felt mansplained to in real life.

I'm suspicious of Benjamin Boyce for this reason

Word. I think he's exploiting women for views (I only know about his YouTube channel), so I never watch his videos when they're suggested here. Women should interview women and get paid for it. Google Adsense is good revenue, imo.

I've only watched his interview on Meghan Murphy's channel where people kept saying they were on a date (barf) and it just kept making me think of my creepy first boss, who looked and acted identical to him.

It was funny when Meghan was talking about being anti-porn, he was quite shocked by that of course. Not to keep blaming the straight women on this post by I really do wonder who is watching him?? Libfems?

I never thought of it that way.

Mind you, I have only watched tow interviews Boyce has conducted.
