You know how TRA love to use Japanese words. "Bimbo" (long o) is Japanese for "poverty." I'm sure they first took the English meaning, like "airhead," but the Japanese overlap might be telling too. Although I'm not sure if the Japanese can use it to mean a poverty of braincells?

When I read articles like this, all I can hear in my head is Fiona Apple going, “There's no hope for women, there's no hope for women, there's no hope for women...”.

And the older I get, the more I come to loathe this whole “reclaiming slurs” garbage. There is nothing brave or radical or empowering about embracing these hyper-feminine, pornsick, misogynistic stereotypes, even if you participate in strenuous verbal and mental gymnastics to try and convince the rest of us otherwise.
