Is it just me or is soya oil really tasty.
I think it's the only one I'd miss.

I really like soybean oil too, tastes good and it's good for the skin. Corn oil is another tasty one with an atrocious omega 6/3 ratio. And peanut oil, it also has other potential issues with the heart.
There's a whole rabbit hole you can go down trying to find a healthy oil. Personally I think a decent compromise is avocado oil. The 6/3 ratio isn't great but it has a neutral taste and a high smoke point.
I just cooked chicken in bacon fat. I don't think anything you do rarely will be so bad for your health.

Avocado oil, olive oil and animal fat. Only things I ever use. I guess if I were to deep fry something I'd use a cheaper oil, but only then.
