You guys like the new upvote and downvote icons? I'm open to suggestions

The problem is the site seems to not really have a downvote feature. You can click both the "pills" and have both votes active on the same post. Also, if you are in day mode is shows as "Insightful" for upvotes and "Fun" for downvotes. I don't know if this can be changed but as it stands the voting feature is not like Reddit.

the saidit admin said they didn't want downvotes like Reddit. It makes it hard for the new posts to have visibility, as they sit at the bottom. I wonder if it can be changed

Maybe make the downvote icon a blue pill or a purple pill (signifying red and blue, since anything not black pill falls into one of those two camps) instead of another black pill? Or maybe a bottle of Soylent? Other than that I think the icons are great.

The top is supposed to be a blackpill and the bottom is supposed to be a bluepill. Before you click it, they're both empty/graypills.

quality is shit but its good enough, and that big wall of hyperlinks occupies your entire screen on mobile, is there a way to move it underneath?

same, on mobile (chrome) the side bar is actually on top on every page.

Update i see them now. But there is bug

Non clicked i see two white pils When i click the top pil is becomes.black When i click the bottom pill i see a smily

You have to actually be on /s/Incels to see them, you can't just look in your inbox

Are there even downvotes? The sidebar delegates the icons to "insightful" and "fun" not positive and negative, does it influence post ranking, etc by way of design by the site, or is it custom css you guys control?

you can rank by either fun or insightful
