Yeah it's a pretty darkpill. If you're into animal studies applicable to human cultures, not just in extrapolation but already seen behaviours, John B Calhoun's mouse utopia experiments, absolute genius of a man, and dedicated about 50 years of his life to these studies observed and highlighted the decay at which behaviour occurs in a society, and how it is deeply connected with dominance, sexual selection etc.
