The origins of "redneck" is really interesting and intentionally lost to time. May Day and Labour Day origins are also not properly promoted either. The powers that be want you to forget our activist history.

Redneckonomics is the name of a progressive YouTube channel and she explains the lost "redneck" origins, from 22m11s to 29m11s, in a brief summary of the PBS 3hr documentary on Coal Mining - in "All Green New Deals Are Not Created Equal" by Redneckonomics (2018-12-13) - An authentic progressive channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvPdcgyUqag YouTube, posted: /s/Socialism/comments/cy7/redneck_lost_origins_of_the_term_explained_22m11s/

Talk about synchronicity, in today's Tin Foil Hat podcast episode, Ryan Dawson explains the origins of "Rednecks" too, from 57:50 to 1:07:50, posted: "Tin Foil Hat With Sam Tripoli #164: The Birth Of ISIS with Ryan Dawson" by Sam Tripoli (2019-02-13) /s/TinFoilHat/comments/cz7/tin_foil_hat_with_sam_tripoli_164_the_birth_of/
