One of my favorite threads (I think it was on r/detrans) had a title like "Thanks for helping me realize I'm not trans" and somewhere in the post they linked to a picture of one of those Pokemon girls, so when on mobile all you saw before opening the thread was the title with the Pokemon girl next to it. IIRC one of the documentaries on trans kids also had very dramatic scenes of a MTF teenager playing a Pokemon game as the girl character with the narrator waxing poetic about how "she could be herself now". Like... if you're getting your whole ass identity from a children's video game then maybe you need to re-evaluate your life a bit first 😂

That thread is utterly nauseating and just shows how "actuallesbians" is completely overrun with male people. I like how there are tons of removed comments with replies like "Comparing trans women to men is transphobic"... reality is transphobic sweetheart, you do look like a man, you should be glad people aren't lying to you.
I'm sure it sucks to be trans because most monosexual people are going to be turned off by either your primary or secondary sex characteristics. That doesn't excuse creeping on lesbians and trying to use "woke" language to shame them for being lesbians. Jfc.

Because they are straight men who have always seen lesbians as a sexy category of women to jerk off to on porn sites. A ton of straight men think lesbians are sexy and fun (in porn - aka the only context most straight dudes ever see lesbians in), so why would they feel any shame?

All transwomen I know who are living with girls - all living with straight or bi-sexual girls. So if lesbian-hunters loved women, they'd date women. However, it seems that they just have lesbian-fetish, and not loving women.

To be fair, I think a lot of them would be happy to date lesbians, it's just that lesbians don't want to date or sleep with them because, you know, we are homosexual women and aren't interested in dick.

Yes, sure, but why not women in general or bi-sexual women at least? Why specifically lesbians, who 90% would not like them just because how their body/brain works (I mean pre-op ones obviously, as it seems only they are so demanding). Plus they still have different to women scent, even post-op.

Lesbian porn also harmed mine. I thought I was asexual for a while, because the idea of sex with a man grossed me out, and while I knew I was attracted to women, any lesbian porn that I looked at seemed gross, awful, and didn't feel nice when I emulated it with my first girlfriend. Funny how lesbian porn that caters strictly to the Male Gaze is enough to make straight men "realize" that they're "lesbians," but a lot of lesbians dislike it.

They get validation from being with a "lesbian" that they cant get from straight or bi women. Straight women only sleep with men, so that totally invalidates the whole TWAW mess. Straight women would only sleep with someone they see as Male, so it doesn't feed the delusion. Bi women will sleep with both, so it leaves room for them to doubt whether the bi woman sees the TiM and his body as female, or if she's just enjoying sex with him in the same way she would with any other man.

If a "lesbian" sleeps with them it is the ultimate validation of their delusion. A woman who only sleeps with women slept with them. There is no room for doubt that they're a real woman now. Iirc men with AGP get sexual pleasure out of having people play into their delusions, it is part of the fetish, and obviously it could help alleviate some of the gender dysphoria that some trans women have as well.

I completely agree. I don’t mind them liking women, most people are straight after all. But why can’t they be trans women who like women? Why must they be thought specifically as lesbians? Why do they insist on their partners being lesbians?
