Back in the days when I worked in a hoity-toity office I went for Colin Firth's look in "A single man", minus the tie.

There is something to be said about the dressing up ritual every morning: buttoning down a crisp shirt, locking the belt on lined suit pants. And the final touches: a bit of perfume and a watch. It steels you against the world in a way, and like Buckskin said "appeases the masses".

These days, I'm chill - t-shirt, casual pants. But, I still feel naked without a watch, so there's that.

My style isn't very defined. I throw on pretty much anything casual and comfortable without thinking too much. I usually avoid accessories because get in the way they distract me way too easily. While I don't necessarily hate dresses I won't go out of my way to put one on.

I think I toe the line of just barely feminine enough to be considered socially acceptable. To be honest I want to start dressing more masculine, like when I was young and tomboyish and much less concerned with looking "like a girl."

Lumberjack meets business casual.

Since it’s summer it’s jeans, tank tops under a thin button down and my most broken in boots that I was recently told have to live outside. Most days I am also wearing my trusty shotgun chaps (no fringe, I hate fringe) because if I didn’t my legs would look like I had a brawl with a cheese grater. The weekend comes and it’s time for basically the same just cleaner and better fitting since I have to appease the masses.

For winter I have an impressive collection of flannel lined pants, muck boots, fleece lined vests, water proof jackets, thick flannel shirts and wool socks. Weekends stay the same as summer.

Tight skinny jeans, tops that show my belly, and (almost) everything I own is black, grey, or white. I even match my masks to my outfits, haha.

I even match my masks to my outfits, haha

Honestly I am here for it. Maybe I'll buy some more fabric when I can and make a few different colored masks.

For real, if I have to wear them I might as well look cute.

Hot, but something someone very young would wear

[–]Poppy29252 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

I'm 30 so take that as you will. Either way I look hot, haha.

It that's normal to you? lol

    [–]VioletRemi 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

No, but I can walk like that sometimes too. I am looking very young!

    [–]florasis 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I said it's hot, but it's unusual to it as a main style when you're not 15 lol

Until like 3-4 years ago, I was asked to provide a passport, when I was buying alcohol, so I am almost 15, just slightly twice above that, but almost! :)

"Law student, but lesbian". I wear a lot of white, which looks good with my pale skin and ginger hair. So usually a little more formal. Still, pretty feminine.

Not sure how it can be called. "Light" or "Summery"? It is always "light-looking" cloths, jeans and t-shirt, business costume, summer dresses with summer hat. Mostly pale colors, or peach, or black. I almost always always have purple or violet something as well.

I never wear skirts and haven't worn a dress in years, and would like to keep it that way. I wear only a little makeup and only occasionally. I am a little bit more on the masculine side in terms of demeanor and outfits.

I would absolutely love to buy some joggers but am pretty broke right now, lol. I wear jeans and a plaid shirt a lot, or a non-form-fitting sweater. I wear a ton of dark and neutral tones (dark red/blue/green, gray, black).

I was really pressured into a lot of feminine clothes in my childhood-- dresses and "tights" (pantyhose) and felt uncomfortable about it. I have slowly given myself permission to explore more.

Tomboy, I guess. I'd like to dress something like Evan Rachel Wood's casual style (https://tinyurl.com/y5ptng77 or https://tinyurl.com/y2gw6qp5) but a little more goth. I more or less already dress like that, but her style is a little more "elevated."

          [–]florasis 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Jeans and t-shirt normally. Jumpsuit , or dresses for going out.

I wear something between classic and casual most of the time. Pretty much this, but I prefer trousers to jeans. Also, I'm so glad that shirts like this became fashionable. They were impossible to find previously, and now they're everywhere.

My teen goth "phase" ended up not being a phase after all, lol. I still swear by long skirts, black velvet, and lace.

Polo shirts, turtlenecks, skinny tight jeans, heeled chelsea boots and some jewerly. I might also put on jacquard blazer with ascot tie if I want to feel fancy

          [–]beholdyourheart 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Casual outdoorsy I suppose. Big flannel jackets/bomber jackets and I never go out without wearing a cap. One time I was told I dressed like a trucker which wasn't meant to be a compliment but I took it as one because that was my dream job as a little kid 😂 Pretty much all my clothes are from the men's section of stores so I guess my style is more masculine.

My summer clothing style is awful though; all my favourite clothes are for cold weather. I like to cover all my skin because I get burnt so easy even with sunscreen, so even in hot sunny weather I wear jeans and a jacket. I look stupid but at least my skin is protected lol.

          [–]yayblueberries 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Jeans and t-shirts, fleeces, sweaters and turtlenecks when it is colder.

          [–]xAcidRainx 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Causal or alternative style T-shirt and jeans, or tanks and shorts/skorts depending on the weather is my go to. I like jewerly as well, but hardly ever wear it lol.

And although I like the feminine style it's just not comfortable for me.

fortunate enough to have a job that has no dress code so my wardrobe is 60% joggers and pop culture t shirts. 30% hoodies. the rest is more casual, dress shirts, polos, slacks. i only wear sneakers. i have boots and dress shoes but only pull them out when necessary. i used to wear baseball hats a lot but now i mostly go hat less tho i have an assortment of beanies for when it's super cold.

decided to go back to school so i'm sure at some point i'll have to get a lot more business casual and i am dreading it.

Business casual for work. Leggings or tight jeans with longer flowy tops and blazers, flats or booties.

Free time is just tops/sweaters and sweatpants.

Whatever clothes my mom and wife get for me. I don't do clothes shopping.
