I actually was in similar situation, but I did not know that I was shittalked behind my back to dozens of people. At first I was mad, but in the end it was funny to me, tho. As she did not know I am a lesbian, so went a bit wrong road: I was meeting with new people I never saw and they were "ah so you are that stupid ex-girfriend of that ugly guy?". First few times I was annoyed to hear that, but then I was just starting to laugh when they were saying that. And in general it was easy to debunk.

Is that girl want to make herself look cool or is it to damage you, tho?

Who knows, I’ve literally only spoken to her once. My feeling is she’s a 21 kid dating a 50 year old woman and feels like mind games are the best way to get whatever it is she’s looking for. All I really know is I’m trying very hard not to react horribly at the moment.

What can I say - people are stupid.

The way I see it, the only person who matters in this situation is your wife, and since she's on your side, you can let the other two implode on their own. If you have the ability to do so, I'd probably take a day or afternoon off to spend time with your wife and do your favorite things to avoid grinding your teeth over it.

I fully understand that point. A day off sounds awesome I have hand one in 5 years, but unfortunately it harvest season so it’s not an option. So I’m grinding my teeth driving a tractor back and forth all day. My biggest issue is everything I do for a living is directly attached to my personal reputation.

That really sucks, especially since I imagine tractor driving leaves a lot of time for fixating. All I can really advise is that is if what she were saying were true, she'd have evidence (text messages, phone logs, etc), so if she were to come at you, demand that she pony up the evidence. It won't necessarily change everyone's mind, but hopefully the right people will believe you.

Sorry someone involved you in their mind games.

Sounds like a solid plan. I’ll just email the last 2 month of phone records to her, keep my mouth shut and fight the urge to type out a 5000 page dissertation on why she’s an idiot.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

So I emailed her 2 months worth of call and text logs (thanks AT&T) and a short never contact me again blurb today at 5 am. Haven’t heard anything since. Thanks for the idea!

Whoa! That'll learn 'em!

Try not to flip into Harvest Rage driving

Can’t with the FieldBee we installed, I don’t even have to steer. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and bitching on the internet all day.

The future is now! Or is this an old thinger, this FieldBee?

It’s been out since 2014. Last year I took a shot on it and it’s been kind of nice. Saves gas, time, and labor.

Maybe you can figure out how to nap

I like it, but I don’t trust it that much lol

Gross dude. I’m 40 and wouldn’t date someone 30, let alone a woman whose brain is not fully developed. That’s yikes central. Anyone young after someone my age has issues with mommy and daddy

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

    Bingo!

    Dude.

Bruh why would an adult be happy if an underaged girl was attracted to them 🤮

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

    Shes 21

    [–]Ricky_Ticky 14 insightful - 1 fun14 insightful - 0 fun15 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Buckskin_Suckerpunch said "her age inappropriate girlfriend" :)

At 21 girls often find older women quite fascinating, so I would't exclude that option

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

She’s 31 years older then this girl. The woman has a grandchild. She’s older then her parents FFS.

    [–]Ricky_Ticky 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Which means your wife's friend is 52, has a grandchild and is dating a 21 year old girl? Wow she must be quite a character

    [–][deleted] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That’s a mild way of putting it. That’s why for the past 5 months they have been together I’ve only been around them once. That was enough for me.

The older one is the one blowing up my phone.

      [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Your friend should be ashamed. Lol. What was she expecting?

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Wife’s friend, I only tolerate her because she lives an hour and a half away lol

      [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Buckskin, this is why you have to reel that flirting right in. Country Shane is in trouble. Lolol

Okay, it’s not funny, it’s actually horrible. I mean, it’s nice she found you so wonderful that she was inspired to have all sorts of romantic fantasies about you, but deeply unfortunate she is also insane and maybe believes them.

I am assuming the girlfriend is the super young one. Maybe your friend who is flipping her shit at you should consider dating someone her own age, or at least pausing and taking time to question why someone so different in age is interested ANYWAY. It’s not your problem her sane-picker is on the fritz.

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

I have really calmed down in the last ten years believe it or not lol. I felt bad for a kid that clearly looked out of her element for like 25 minutes one time. I should have know last week when she liked a post from last December on my Instagram that something weird was going on, but I blew it off. The problem with girls like that is even if I was a complete shit bag towards her, I would probably be in the same boat right now.

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

So it’s because “a little” went WAY too long of a way. Lol. Was the dumb older woman actually mad at you? I hope you set her straight (please get her away from the gays! Lol).

      [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Well she’s acting like a complete crazy asshole. I still haven’t responded to anything she’s said. Not sure if it’s making her get even more pissed off or not, after being called every name in the book part of me want to just piss her off more.

      [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

Tell her she’s gonna need to find another cradle to rob because her gf sounds like she’s smitten by a fantasy woman and a fantasy scenario, and to leave you out of it because the only young thing you’re gonna plow is a field, or something country like that. Lol

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

Maybe I’ll load up the old mare drive down into town and ride up and down her street proclaiming my love of her midlife crisis.

      [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

      Loooool. Make a banner too

I wish women like this would just get motorcycles or something instead of chasing after children. How stomach turning. I think the old mare will poop on that woman’s shoes in protest. When i was 30 i had 18 year olds after me, and it’s gotten worse as i age. Where were all of the lesbians when i was 20?! What gives? Lol

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Well I have more flashy fantasy fulfilling horses but this girl and the old buckskin mare have the same name, and the woman knows that. It would be bonus anger points. Plus she’s the only horse I own that will beat the hell out of any one who talks to me in her presence. As far as she concerned she’s my wife and everyone else can die.
