Yesterday and today I have been bombarded with text messages from a friend of my wife, about 40 of them so far. Apparently her age inappropriate girlfriend told her that she’s been hanging out with me, that I message her all the time, that I have been taking her out riding, and a lot of other untrue BS. I haven’t responded to any of it because I don’t even know how to start without being a complete asshole. My wife seems unbothered by it because she knows where I am and what I’m doing all day long. The only thing she said to her friend was that she would notice a 26’ foot horse trailer missing from the drive way. She works from home, she would know someone’s here before I would. Luckily on my last hauling job, where I was gone for 4 days, my mom came with me. On the other hand I’m super pissed about the whole thing. Out of all the people she could have involved in her little mind game why the hell am I the one getting dragged into this? Why would someone try to mess up someone else’s life because they want attention? The level of emotional manipulation that is happening here is driving me up the wall. I have maybe had one actual conversation with this girl, it was at a dinner party months ago in front of god and everyone else. I’ve never been alone with her. I don’t even have her phone number. Seriously, WTF is going on here?! Since my wife isn’t bothered I shouldn’t put any time into this. However I’m really pissed she’s putting my reputation in a questionable place. Who knows who else has been told about this imaginary shit storm she created. Any way thanks for listening to my lesbian drama, I needed to get it out somewhere.
