Star Trek - The Man Trap
Mysterious deaths of Enterprise crew on a desolate planet disrupt McCoy's unexpected reunion with an old love.
#1-S1E1 - September 8, 1966
This was the first Star Trek episode to air on television, although the sixth to be filmed; it was chosen as the first of the series to be broadcast by the studio due to the horror plot, which I do certainly approve of!
The Invaders - The Spores
Vincent pursues an alien (Gene Hackman) whose case contains spores that will produce mature aliens when opened.
#24 - S2E7 - October 17, 1967
This was the only appearance of Gene Hackman in a MeTV show. I remember him from the film The Conversation (1974).
Lost in Space - The Questing Beast
Penny meets the scaly female beast Gundemar, who is being chased by a bumbling knight (Hans Conried).
#46 - S2E17 - January 11, 1967
This episode was largely symbolic. The female beast was actually played by a man, then dubbed in by a woman:
Jeff County ... Gundemar (uncredited)
June Foray ... Gundemar (voice) (uncredited)
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - The Saboteur
Crane is brainwashed and ordered to thwart a mission and kill Nelson.
Guests: Bert Freed, Warren Stevens; James Brolin.
#24 - S1E24 - February 22, 1965
Captain Crane is again the focus of this episode, Danger from within, and all that. It certainly seems people were a lot easier to brainwash back then!
Land of the Giants - Chamber of Fear
The travelers work to free Fitzhugh who has been captured by the owners of an eerie wax museum.
Guest: Cliff Osmond (Jolo), Christopher Cary (Deenar), Joan Freeman (Mara), Don Kennedy (Policeman), Robert Tiedemann (The Monk)
#35 - S2E9 - November 16, 1969
I love the setting, in a spooky old was museum. Some of the figures were actually mechanically controlled, and true to form one of the travelers fumbles with the gears controlling them and manages to get her companion stuck. I'm not saying they are bumbling oafs or anything, but..! :)
The Time Tunnel - Walls of Jerico
Doug and Tony spy for Joshua (Rhodes Reason) as he prepares to tumble the walls of Jerico. With Myrna Fahey
#20 - January 27, 1967
This episode concerned a Biblical account of historical event. I did like the ambiguous ending that could be taken either way.
Planet of the Apes - The Tyrant
The fugitives embark on a plan to remove a corrupt district chief from office.
#11 - November 22, 1974
Although the characters of Janor and Mikal are supposedly brothers, the actors portraying them have a 25-year age difference making them look more like father and son.
This episode was used as the second half of the third compilation movie titled "Treachery and Greed on the Planet of the Apes" released in 1980.
The Powers of Matthew Star - The Triangle
Matthew and Pam search for Pam's uncle, lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Directed by Leonard Nimoy.
#9 - November 19, 1982
It was a great premise for the episode, - set in the Bermuda Triangle searching for a lost relative, but not even Leonard Nimoy could save this show.
You are really much better off watching Triangle (2009), which was actually quite good.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
