      I've been espousing that point myself. It's also why there was a problem in the first place, nobody looked too closely at Aimee because of her "trans shield." After getting rid of Aimee we still have her friends and lovers left behind in powermod positions, just got banned from a sub for "transphobia" for mentioning that. They're worried they may be next, I hope they are.

      I wouldn't think reddit with its upcoming IPO is thrilled by how much power these people have.

      Remember that this is the same reddit that hosted the /r/jailbait subreddit for years, until they were forced to address it when CNN's biggest news anchor called them out on his show.

      They're perfectly fine with how much power "these people" have, because they are "these people". At reddit, it's pedos all the way down. They only dismiss people like this when they're forced to.

      That's not what I mean. Most Redditors weren't calling for her to be removed because she's trans, they where calling for her to be removed because she removed comments from specific people. Calling someone transphobic doesn't make them transphobic.

      There's been lots of arguments about it.

      I remember the point that because America was founded on liberal principles they can call supporting those principles conservative while most old world countries can't.

      In the UK the conservative party was literally founded to push isolationist/anti-free trade policies.

      "Aimee" tried to do exactly this when he was ousted from UK politics after it was discovered he hired a child rapist on as a political consultant. "Transphobia" was supposedly the real reason why people were upset that he hired a child rapist to represent their party.

      That's not true. It was already an issue that is WHY they started cracking down. It was generating a lot of anti pedo comments and waking people up to just how pro pedo reddit is. The comments were not going to stop if they did nothing. Too many people were complaining. They could have chosen a different rout like denying that he is himself a pedo and demand that he not be punished for others crimes, but then they would have to denounce pedophilia and that would go against their agenda. Not to mention evidence would inevitably come out that aimee is a pedo too.

      First it's not clear what you mean by Reddit. Reddit is the people who hired Aimee, and their only problem is that pedophilia isn't accepted as a beautiful heroic sexuality.

      The mods who protested by going private have more than one issue. First they weren't happy about having an openly pro pedophilia CEO, or whatever the fuck that things position was, and they wanted to talk about it. Obviously they have no problem silencing people with other opinions, that does not mean they are ok with having their opinions silenced. They are not generally pro censorship, they are hypocritical authoritarians. So their second issue is that they were silenced.

      The latter issue does not negate the former issue. Both exist at the same time.

      No it wasn't. It was about regular users getting banned all over the place for weeks and it didn't quite became obvious until a regular mod from UKpol got banned from reddit for posting an article. It then became clear it was about that aimee bloke and the admins covering up for him.

      Everyone got pissed off to find out they hired this pedo apologist and gave him power and then the fool admitted he was close to nekosune another bloke pretending to be a women who drew smut with children.

      A lot of the mods and admins are TIM's, blokes pretending to be women who all do dodgy shit like Bardfinn and pewpoodle. They all boasted of destroying the women subs like truelesbians and gendercritical.

      Reddit is getting tired of it. Sure there are a lot of people still chanting transwomen are women and calling this fucker "she" like you are but they are waking up. The superstraight thing from a few weeks ago lit the fuse. people are getting agry over this gendercult and all the freaks in it.

      The 3 other responses here do not understand what happened. Having looked at this the past couple of days - without any interest in the subject, but curious about the circumstances - I see that it's relatively easy to locate lots of people on Reddit, as well as mods, who support the same causes as Aimee and her husband (ref. to trans, not pedo). I still don't know what to think of the cartoon animal porn, but I suspect someone will tell me that's equivalent to pedophelia. If that's the case, what about Manga porn. I've heard that - in Japan - it's quite popular (albeit obviously disturbing). In any event, the recent problems developed because of bad mod and admin behaviour on Reddit. Perhaps they were trying to stop doxxing, as they say, but others mention that doxxing was not the problem.
