Is that a photoshop job?

There is a link with that headline from that sub: https://old.reddit.com/r/Coronavirus/comments/lhuzo2/trump_was_sicker_than_acknowledged_with_covid19/

But it's got a different tag, a different thumbnail, and a different submitter.

It's a different sub: CoronavirusUS. It also links to a different article. OP's links to The Guardian, yours links to NYT.

I couldn't find The Guardian's article, nor OP's post on CoronavirusUS. It might be that the mods deleted it as a duplicate, it might be shopped.

But this is mild compared to what those dimwitted harpies at Reddit normally do.

They have an entire sub dedicated to gloating over the suffering and dying of COVID patients because they either didn't take the vaccine or doubted the severity of the disease. Reddit even created a corresponding award for it.

I grow more and more disgusted with Reddit and its users with every visit.

CoronavirusUS only has this link with that headline: https://old.reddit.com/r/CoronavirusUS/comments/lhzmyj/trump_was_sicker_than_acknowledged_with_covid19/

Again, different tag, different submitter, different thumbnail, not the Guardian.

Gloating over the death of a person is poor form. In their defence, antivaxers can be very aggressive, and dismissive of the danger that they pose to the rest of the community.

No, it is an actual screen shot I took. They may have removed the flair or the post all together by now. I was banned from there quite awhile back.

I called them out for being shitty for it, as I believe the moderators added that "Great news" flair, since it was a non-flair sub. They simply deleted my comments/posts and temp banned me and the other who told them not to be evil scumbags.

r/CoronavirusUS eventually permanently banned me for posting a John Hopkins article outlining the differences between the regular Vaccine safety approval and the "accelerated" approval process of the Covid vaccines. They refused to accept that anything was done differentaly at all, despite it being well a documented and abject fact, from every reliable source. Fun fact, the stage 3 long-term safety clinical trials of Modern (which are time based and cannot ever be sped up simply with more subjects) are expected to complete around December of this year! When we were told stage 3 trials were done, they really meant that the barrier to convince the FDA that they were likely safe enough to bypass the stage 3 trials for now, was met.

Reminds me of how the Irish government media reacted when Trump got sick. Irish journalists were angry when Trump recovered from Covid. I swear, it feels like my country is run by redditors.

There's not really anything new in that article. Trump was hospitalized with a respiratory virus. Clearly there was concern about his ability to breathe. Doctors don't just hospitalize people for no reason. Everyone with any sense knew he was gravely ill.
