I would have to try pretty hard to come up with negatives about the movie. The fight with the "The Blue Bear" is a bit absurd, sure. I don't like the ham-fisted portrayal of the mother and siblings. Some of these I chalk up the real fact that they have a limited time to establish some things. The reality is that most don't have an appetite for longer movies. I'm actually surprised how much they can do in only 1.5 hours, now. The pacing is pretty good for the movie, so I wouldn't say it would benefit from expanding on these topics. The movie has captivating characters, a great plot, and a gut-wrenching ending.
