@ all redditfugees: saidit could seriously do with a bit of support !

Scroll down this page and have a look at saidit's patreon: 2 patrons who gave the immense sum of 23 $ this month. What a disgrace ! The site looks awesome, it has all the stuff one could wish for (just needs a better logo than the snakey "S").

If we want saidit to survive we do need to "supportit" (otherwise we'll be trying to "saveit", "rescueit" or "resuscitateit" later).

@ u/magnora7: if you read this: THANK YOU and also: where are you hosting the site ? Anywhere where it cannot be shut down all too easily ?

Admin here. Thanks for the support! We're hosting with a smaller well known web host, are not dependent on any cloud services, and can easily relocate/rehost the site if need be.

Thanks for your reply. Good to know. Just an idea: why not post a canary somewhere, just for peace of mind ? Who knows, it might become relevant at some stage...

You're welcome! d3rr and I are glad to see people enjoying the site. Like he said we're hosted with a smaller/mid-range server farm and are prepared to relocate to any other server around the world at the drop of a hat if need be. Seconded. /u/magnora7 I think all we need for a canary is a "Warrant Canary" post on /s/SaidIt where we specify a last edited date, and a "Canary" link to it in the footer. Of course there's the hassle of updating it weekly or monthly or quarterly.
