Are you allowed to say you admire Hitler? Because that seems like the current canary in the coal mine, at least according to that user saying his comments were deleted for doing so. Not sure if that was from an admin or just mods, though.

I admire the fuck out of Hitler. The only thing he did wrong was losing.

Are you allowed to say you admire Hitler?

The misinformed will not understand how this could be a reasonable opinion.

They are now trying hard to pass all kinds of domestic terrorist and laws making criticism of Israel a criminal offense.

people should be able to make up their mind if somethign is disinfo or not. I'm still here and probably 3/4ths of the stuff posted on ALL is pro-ZIonsit disinfo but it is easy for me to see.

/s/TheAmeliaMay we don't know what we don't know.

There's mountains of misinfo and bullshit that are caked onto the way things probably (cause you can't be 110% certain) went down in Europe in the 1930's-40's.

The zionists own most of the media, and manufacture the history books.

You won't find a "holocaust" section in a pre 1965 encyclopedia, for self-evident reasons; 20 years after WW2.

A decent, but clearly biased source is David Irving.
He's a pro British, and self admitted racist, but he cited the original source documents.

All sources are biased, but honest sources will declare their biases.

cc /u/Jesus

Edit: Here's a classic example. Irving is smart, factual, and quite funny.

David Irving - Warmongers, England, Winston Churchill.

I can assure anyone who hasn't read/heard Irving that they'll have their minds blown.

For example, Irving details Churchill planned to assassinate US Ambassador Kennedy. This is according to Kennedy himself. Through official channels.

You can't make this stuff up.

Censorship is a weapon against the public.

The truth shall set us free.

He wasn't a great guy, but was surely doing something folks don't like to try and understand. He did more than just losing. At the end, he was in shambles and had given up all hope. I don't trust everything they say about what he did, but it is clear he lost heart and started making mistakes. He did more wrongs than you are letting on, even if you admire the fuck out of him. I mean, those early days are historically significant in so many ways, and those writings and conversations will be continued for generations to come, regardless of any wrongs he did or did not do.

I also think this is the big canary in the coal mine.. Edit: if we can make subs about Colonial America we should be able to make subs about Nazi Germany.

I will not ban you for saying that; I cannot speak for Magnora. I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that.

i am so tired of all of this "i am going to ban you, i am going to censor you" bull shit.

am I the only one that is tired of this twitter and facefuck censorship bull crap?

Like i need somebody constantly reprimanding me when i speak, for fucks sake.

for me, i really enjoy mr hitler as an administrator and as a manager, but i dont quite understand what his issue was with those nice jewish people..

i hardly need some half cocked drag queen telling me that i cant discuss this.

where did we ever get this idea that one person could decide which topics were valid to discuss?

answer: it happened when we allowed faggots into our classrooms.

fk.

fuckin faggots have put up a fence around my white house(including razor wire) and they have declared their intent to put me into a death camp, and you wanna tell me that i have to be nice and not use violent words?

okey dokey then, gotcha, thats a big 10-4 rubber duckie.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (6 children)

There is a way to be clever about such things. Edit: clever as in, you can say your view without actually advocating anything, or inciting wrath from the defenders.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, you can support Hitler without supporting violence. Just don't tell people to start killing others.

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Why are you so aggressive, Bob, both at /s/retards and here? Why do you care so much? Why are you so defensive? What do you hope to achieve at Saidit? Genuine questions.

[–]specialsauces 2 insightful - 6 fun2 insightful - 5 fun3 insightful - 6 fun -  (1 child)

i kinda like amelia, i want her to have my baby.

i am looking forward to the late nights when she gets up to breast feed our new little monster.

it is going to be so wonderful.

we will name him A7.

and as soon as the baby stops shitting green poop, we will begin the hormone therapies and cross dressing sessions.

get fucked, faggot. FREE SPEECH is in the RULES, and to twist them to suit your own fucked up agenda is out of order. You are scum, a blight, a cancer, and you should FUCK OFF.

Hitler did nothing wrong. You may want to pretend that you can now threaten and control speech based on your own fucked up monocular ideation, but simply saying that DOES NOT ADVOCATE VIOLENCE.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (15 children)

No I didn't, that one-hundred percent a lie. I specifically said that he'd only be banned if he advocated violence, and expressly said he could say he likes Hitler.

[–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

I will not ban you for saying that; I cannot speak for Magnora. I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that.

I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so

I will not ban you for saying that; I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so

So, you won't ban people for saying they like hitler, but will charge them for advocating violence ....

what I said.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

No, you're trying to say I said I'd ban them for saying they liked Hitler, which I didn't.

If your problem is with the rules: take it up with magnora7, not me.

[–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

yes, you did. maybe you just did it because you suck at english language, but you did. own your mistakes, don't gaslight

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

You can literally read my comment. I specifically said I wouldn't ban him for that. If you say a lie enough times: it doesn't become true.

[–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

You explicitly said, "I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that."
That, in this case, was "Are you allowed to say you admire Hitler?"

He then said, "I admire the fuck out of Hitler".

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

You explicitly said, "I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that."

Advocating violence is against site rules. I didn't write them, btw.

He then said, "I admire the fuck out of Hitler".

That isn't advocating violence; he's allowed to say that, and was allowed to.

[–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

[–]Node 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (21 children)

Hitler did nothing wrong.

Appreciate the sentiment, but he technically made a number of errors in his execution, namely, failing to on the crucial question. And of course, the conclusion.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (20 children)

He also rounded up and had killed/arrested some groups of people who did not deserve it, like gypsy folk. This isn't good, no matter how you try to shake it. A criminal can be arrested. An entire group of people, mixed with criminals and innocents, cannot.

yes, the amelia may is completely out of order, and running on an ego trip as the captain of the ship is busy with a natural disaster.

Just to clarify, (because I need something others can copy/paste later if they have to)

    • Saying he did nothing wrong is allowed.

    • Saying what he did should be repeated is not.

Is that what you mean? Or am I misunderstanding?

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Yes, but the second point is only true for violence.

    [–]AnarchySpeach 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah. Some people who support the first tend to disagree the second isn't the same thing and find it weird to think of them separately.

A few people are going to get really bent out of shape when their comment gets deleted over it. Good luck explaining it to them.

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Some people who support the first tend to disagree the second isn't the same thing and find it weird to think of them separately.

You just have to be careful about how you word things. If the words don't advocate violence: he usually doesn't mind.

A few people are going to get really bent out of shape when their comment gets deleted over it.

They're already bent out of shape, and are looking for anything to whine about — for their narrative is not the furthering of free speech, but rather its destruction. You'll notice that many of the people complaining, such as Bob, are opposed to the Reform movement, and have repeatedly dragged discussion down the Pyramid of Debate. Odd that he never liked Hitler until now...

Good luck explaining it to them.

You can't get the bot to stop posting ads by explaining to it why their acts are wrong.

    [–]Node 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that

I think this is how you kill a site like saidit. Both the prohibition of expressing ones opinion, and the threats by an admin.

Despite being one of the oldest accounts here (one of a handful of antiextreams.com users), I've spent most of recent years on free speech sites. So I can't say definitively that attacks on free speech here are the main reason saidit never gained users, but having to walk on eggshells when expressing oneself is generally not very popular.

However, I realize M7 made a rule against advocating certain 'types' of violence, so try to refrain when I'm here on saidit. (aside from that one drunk-posting episode...)

I remind that there was that recent incident where a saidit-user-who-shall-not-be-named-in-this-comment advocated for violence against pedophiles.

To be fair, M7 is one of the better site owners out there. If anyone is familiar with the contrasting styles of Puttitout versus AOU, M7s quirks are not 'terrible'. It is kind of disappointing that they've inhibited saidits growth to the extent they have.

(but actual free speech brings attacks from youknowwho that can make life difficult for a site owner)

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

the prohibition of expressing ones opinion

I never said he couldn't say he likes Hitler, all I said was that he can't advocate violence, which is against the site rules I didn't write.

I realize M7 made a rule against advocating certain 'types' of violence, so try to refrain when I'm here on saidit.

Exactly. You can't advocate violence on SaidIt.

He asked if he could express his admiration for it and then he expressed his admiration for it. You said you would charge him for advocating for violence.
Do it and stop back tracking and kill this site already so we can make a new one without you, or fuck off and let someone else that's competent and can keep it together be in charge of the mod controls.

    You're fucking butchering this.

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

He asked if he could express his admiration for it and then he expressed his admiration for it.

Yes, and he didn't get banned for that, now did he?

You said you would charge him for advocating for violence.

Advocating violence is against the rules, so yes, if he ever does that, which I don't believe he has: he'll be dealt with.

kill this site already so we can make a new one without you

If you hate SaidIt so much: leave. Oh, but that's not what you want — you and the other conspirators simply wish to watch SaidIt burn. You've been out for us since the get-go.

You know he told me you'd do this, right? He said you and the malicious entity you represent would attempt to divide the admins against each other — and is this not what you, and the others, have been working towards?

I just think the Reddit model is doomed to inevitable schisms specifically because of what you're doing.

No, because of what you're doing.

    [–]369 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

    What am I doing?
    Post the evidence.

I solely want this place to survive. It's starting to seem like you're confusing me with someone else.
Either you're slandering me because you don't like what I talk about here or you've mistaken my cynicism about the shelf life of the Reddit model for me wanting to sow division so this website doesn't function properly.

I pretty much always stay out of any drama. I hardly interact with any mods, let alone the admins.
You're imagining me having any inspirations here. I think magnora is a fine guy and want to see him continue things.

These accusations are ridiculous and I think you've been consumed by a huge misunderstanding that, somehow, had something to do with me, even though I literally started posting here weeks ago.
How long have I been cooking up this plan? Who are my accomplices?
Let's hear some more juicy details about your imaginative fairy tale.

We are witnessing the elimination and distortion of free speech protections right before our eyes. You are very wrong.

Saying that you admire Hitler is NOT ADVOCATING FOR VIOLENCE.

Simply saying that you admire a person does not mean that you approve of everything they did in their life.

And saying you admire someone is not advocating for anything, period. It's saying that you admire a person. Nothing more.

    [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

We are witnessing the elimination and distortion of free speech protections right before our eyes. You are very wrong.

The last time I checked his comment wasn't removed, and he wasn't banned. You're just another astroturfer pretending like saying a lie enough times makes it true.

Saying that you admire Hitler is NOT ADVOCATING FOR VIOLENCE.

Yea bro I'm an astroturfer with a 10-year-old normal-as-fuck Reddit account under the same name.

    Strawman; I never said that.

But you did say that anyone who says they admire Hitler will be penalized for "advocating for violence," right?

I will not ban you for saying that; I cannot speak for Magnora. I will, however, charge you for advocating violence if you do so, so be wary of that.

    [–]thoughtcriminal 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can you clarify on what constitutes a call to violence? The US already has certain criteria that must be met for speech advocating for illegal activity to be illegal, and it's a much much higher bar than speech on here. So what is the bar exactly if not the Brandenburg test?

If I say "kill all X" is that a call to violence even though it's not imminent, non-specific, and not actionable? What if I say something like "traitors should be hanged" or "you should shoot someone trespassing on your property"? What if I say "fight like hell" or "take to the streets"? What about in the context of satire or humor?

These are all questions that need to be answered or the rules will remain ambiguous and prone to bias. I highly doubt you and magnora even have the same idea of what it is. That's a problem.

    [–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

    advocating for violence

Well, that about settles it. I've only ever viewed any interaction with u/AmericanMuskrat as detrimental and although I regularly disagree with anything he/she says, I fully support its/her/his right to say whatever stupid shit it/he/she says.

This is an awfully slippery slope.
Equating acknowledging admirable individual attributes of a historical figure to "advocating violence" is a cerebral leap that is entirely nonsensical to me.
This is right out of the tranny think tank/Mockingbird playbook.

I hereby declare the collapse of this website imminent.

I hereby declare the collapse of this website imminent.

Because you're working towards it; that was your goal since the get-go.

Advocating violence is against site rules; I didn't write the rules.

    [–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I actually think you are the one working toward it.
I explicitly do not want this to not work.

    [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Even though you sow the seeds of division, and work against the tides of progress.

    [–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You appear to be being defensive because you've mistaken my cynical view of the Reddit shelf-life for my desire to see it collapse.

You're the reason it's collapsing currently. I do not wish it collapse.
I completely reject that I've ever suggested it should and I don't think I've ever actively contributed to its demise like you are doing currently.
This "advocating for violence" bullshit, which is only ever used super ambiguously like some attorney, is glaring evidence of the methods commonly used on platforms like Reddit to stifle discussion that troubles the confused minds of average demoralized Reddit users who have no idea what to think and merely operate upon consensus.

If the guy is saying, "kill XXXXX", yeah, okay, ban them. I don't think anyone needs to be violent for any reason, but doing this shit where talking about some positive aspects of Hitler, whether they exist or not, all without mentioning "Jews" gets you banned for "advocating violence" like this is Reddit is completely asinine and will destroy this platform despite whatever noble intentions you think you have.

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You appear to be being defensive

The correct word is offensive. I'm not the one investing all my resources into a single attack, and then becoming desperate when it doesn't work.

you've mistaken my cynical view of the Reddit shelf-life for my desire to see it collapse.

That's not why; you're trying to foster division and spread lies.

You're the reason it's collapsing currently.

Even though it was actually started by the ironleft folks, to which Magnora can attest. And didn't they attack when I was gone? Hmm... what a coincidence...

but doing this shit where talking about some positive aspects of Hitler, whether they exist or not, all without mentioning "Jews" gets you banned for "advocating violence"

I never banned anyone for supporting Hitler. I banned two people for repeated name-calling and advocating violence, and have since reversed both bans.

I also banned the 'Americans' bot a gazillion times, but I don't think anyone's upset with that, lol.

    [–]369 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Even though it was actually started by the ironleft folks,

    The what?...

Yep, I'm growing more confident that you're just confusing me with someone that you think I am.
Is this because I made like two or three posts the other day expressing cynicism about how long this website might last?
    Seriously?

I can't be cynical for one or two days straight without you concocting some imaginative drivel about how I'm here to collapse the site?
If you're this crazy, maybe I am just wasting my time defending myself.
Consider that maybe, just maybe, I've been banned on Reddit for what seemed like zero reason at all and now I'm just cynical about how Reddit operates, have thought for more than five minutes about what might be wrong with it, tried to come up with a way to express those ideas and followed through by communicating them on a website that resembles Reddit.

You're making gigantic jumps here. I seriously think you've got me confused with someone else.
I think I've interacted with any admin one or two times. It was magnora, and I'm pretty much positive I complimented him, despite expressing the cynicism that I'd mentioned previously.

    Get a grip.

The sub is dedicated solely to breaking the rules. The only reason bobby made it was so they could call everyone retards and pick fights.

      [–]Node 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I'll just point out that many people are retards, but the "picking fights" part (if true) can be pretty annoying. I've just blocked several people on a different site because it blocks their garbage posts from my front page.

It can be challenging to strike the right balance between allowing stupidity that comes with free speech, and turning into a censorious cunt. In the /s/retards case, I'd prefer offering a way to block some combination of:

      a sub

      a users posts

      a users comments

      a users private messages

... for people who are offended, or just 'don't want to see that shit'. I don't find the content of /s/retards appealing, but I'm okay with them wanting to name their poops. 🙄

Thanks for making this discussion post, btw!

Yeah, but there are better ways to express than than just calling them a retard.

but the "picking fights" part (if true) can be pretty annoying

Yeah, there's been a few arguments over his posts. (albeit most of them where with me) The username mentions probably get a few people. They see "you're a retard" in their inbox, and it starts a fight — and that's the intention.

Thanks for making this discussion post, btw!

You're welcome. We really need to talk stuff out.

I like the post, "u/bobbobbybob for holding no unique ideas of his own"

But yeah, it's just sour grapes, or "stinkin' thinkin'" (AA), not to mention only about attacks on people at Saidit. It's juvenile and contributes nothing of substance to the site, probably hurts people's feelings, is potentially destructive to the sense of 'community' (when or if it is popular), and as you note, it literally breaks the rules of Saidit. Leaving it where it is however confirms that Saidit is willing to let items this low in the pyramid of debate (and low IQ) remain. It's also a good place to locate the some of the negative nellies of the site, if one wants to see some of them in a group. I suppose I could create the opposite kind of sub, with lists of Saiditors who make interesting, informative or reasonable posts and comments, and refer to it as /s/SaneSaiditors or similar. Many of them are rarely here, so this might remind them that they're appreciated. (I collected the group by selecting +Friend when I read a post I liked.)

      [–][deleted] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I don't care that it hurts people's feelings; I care that it's designed solely and exclusively to drag discussion down the Pyramid of Debate, picking fights and scaring away new users, who think s/retards is the norm.

      [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Yes - does seem to be part of a plan, if one has the patience to read though Bob's posts.

I know he probably wants me to die in a fire, rather slowly, like a roasted ham.

I also often wonder what happened to the other 39,010 readers.

      [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

And it ain't just Bob. It might seem crazy, but there's a conspiracy against SaidIt that involves many users, some high-profile, some not — but all of them serving the interests of some malevolent force; Bob is one of them, as well as lxxxviii and specialsauces.

And they wait until Magnora is tied up with a natural disaster to attack, attempting to divide us in this desperate time — they where waiting for this moment, it was all part of the plan. I'm not entirely sure what the plan is, but Bob admitted it includes them becoming admin, so they have power over the site that they can use to destroy it.

I just find it hilarious that whoever is behind this thinks Magnora is an idiot and can be easily fooled — he's not, and he won't. He's already seen through their lies.

I would argue with Muskrat about some of his most vital of personal views, and yet, here we both are telling you to slow your roll to a major degree, please. This is not a war. This is a website for discussion. There is a third side: innocent bystanders who see merit on both sides. Moderates, you know, the best kind of people.

u/AmericanMuskrat and I were innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire of your shooting.

            [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

You want me to slow down, and that's what I want, but he wants the entire site destroyed. He's no longer an innocent bystander, he opposes any kind of reform I propose, simply because I proposed it — and he opposes it not with truth, not with logic, but rather with lies created specifically to cause turmoil.

I thought he'd at least try to be reasonable when trying to convince me of his views, but he's gone off the deep end with lxxxviii, loki88, mega16, specialsauces, bobbobbybob, and the others who seek the demise of SaidIt. I'm really disappointed, because I liked him.

If he truly believed me leaving is the best for SaidIt: he wouldn't be concocting lies to those ends, now would he?

He went off the deep end because someone ((you)) were pushing him. Amelia, u/AmericanMuskrat and I are real men who do not get pushed around just because of "peaceful ways". Edit: I don't think he actualy went off the deep end, just what you consider to be the deep end. Some of us can swim safely in deeper waters than you, and that's why we think your admining needs replacing, or at least, needs work. You are too easy to upset, Amelia. Neither of us meant to upset you, but here you are, once upset with me, now upset with ol' Musk.

Just because I would like to wipe out about 90% of humanity doesn't mean that I advocate that anyone do this or that I actually intend to do it. Such distinctions are important.

            1. I didn't ban him, Magnora did

            2. The listed reason was for advocating violence and sexualizing minors

            3. I have evidence that he did both of these, stop pretending he didn't

advocating: to speak or write in favor of; support or urge by argument; recommend publicly:

Hmm. IMO, he's technically just saying what his belief is rather than than actually advocating. Despite using the word support instead of belief, he's not presenting an argument in that comment for others to adopt his beliefs. While that is a technical point, he doesn't appear to have technically crossed the line. But saying "mass murder" instead of "legally executed" was probably too much of a stroll beside the line for M7.

As for the bit about "all girls above 11-12," banning might not be enough. While it might just be internet hyperbole, it makes you wonder if he has access to any in real life.

That's still against the rules. I don't really agree with it, since it should be calls to violence, but it's the rule Magnora and d3rr made. People seem to think I have more power than I do.

But saying "mass murder" instead of "legally executed" was probably too much of a stroll beside the line for M7.

few people really understand that the current administration's agenda is to genocide approx 90% of humanity.

90% of humanity must go, and the current administration understands this.. they would prefer to use soft weapons, such as starvation, which leave less of a footprint on the earth, compared to nuclear weapons.

our current resources simply will not support ten billion people, nine billion people gotta go.

we have one small can of tuna and twenty people to feed, it aint gonna play out well.

            eighteen of you gotta go.

In my case it is much simpler. I just hate 90% of humanity because they are evil morons. Religion used to civilize average people somewhat, but religion is dying, so humanity is becoming scum.

The 'Americans' bot. Some of you have seen it, some haven't, but there's a robot that spams rants about the US. Since it's a robot, and has been banned hundreds — if not thousands — of times: it won't be getting a trial

AMERICANS ARE SO BAT SHIT INSANE THEY WANT MORE FASCISM TO COMBAT COMMUNISM

AMERICANS ARE SO CRAZY THEY WANT TO IMPRISON CHILDREN WHILE INCREASING IMMIGRATION.

That bot is probably straight out of Tel Aviv.

It is certainly not fascist in the way Hitler took power. For if it was fascist as National Socialism most of the bankers and speculators woudl be in jail. The US is an economically liberalized society based on radical individualism run by a corp-plutocracy.

            No attempt at hiding it.

            No excuse. No lie. Nothing.

They turned it off without a fuck given. I saw it happen live online and I'm still blinking at the wall like a ufo crashed in my backyard. Definitely a plutocracy of some sort. Can't pretend it's not anymore. Not after that.

You're referring to the Great Reset? I mean when the US corp is a non self-sustaining retail corporation you got two choices: eithercollapse at some point because labor force has no money in a mass ponzi pyramid scamor create a doldrum, lower asset prices buy up small bussiness and inject credit to stablize.

            [–]AnarchySpeach 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I was referring to the /r/wallstreetbets chaos on reddit.

But the great reset is also a major problem.

I disagree with the capitalism=ponzu argument. It is self sufficient as long excessive stress (like illegal immigration) is avoided. The circulation of money in an economy is unavoidable and despite what the socialists say, the dragons sitting on their piles of gold don't damage the economy by existing, but rather by choosing tax-free purchase options (and not all rich people do that.)

            [–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

            Muh capitalism, Muh free markets.

People need to get it through their heads that the truth is this and always will be: the US WAS FOUNDED ON A CONSPIRACY AND THE REVOLUTION WAS LOST BY DAY ONE.

The US is quasi private/public corporation dictating for company policy and is entirely SELF-FUNDING. Unfortunately they are using our legal person status and writing us down on their books and then charging us for all kinds of things when the contract is tacit and nothing more.

The goldites own the credit passed off as money which means they dictate US policy. Problem is gold has no intrinsic value. Only production of the necessities does but the plutocracy can't care less.

            [–]AnarchySpeach 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

            Muh capitalism, Muh free markets.

Well... yeah. The less free the market, the less successful the capitalism.

US WAS FOUNDED ON A CONSPIRACY

Conspiracy to commit treason. Yes. That's how some revolutions can happen.

REVOLUTION WAS LOST BY DAY ONE.

What? The british crown has no legal authority over the internal operations of the states. I'd call that a win in my book.

The US is quasi private/public corporation

Most capitalistic societies are in one form or another. Even china to a very limited extent has some aspects of capitalistic practices in their market.

            and is entirely SELF-FUNDING.

Taxes. The moral acquitision of such is questionable even at the best of times, but it's the easiest way for the government to attain money from the market around it. Usually through legal red tape, diplomatic lies, and sometimes by use of lethal force if they think there's enough money to profit off the cost.

            when the contract is tacit

Failure of the public school system imo. Or they designed it to be intentionally obtuse in that way. I wish tax law was taught in high school. lol.

The goldites own the credit passed off as money which means they dictate US policy.

Most of the policy, but not all of it. I agree with you. It is a serious problem that's being continuously ignored.

Problem is gold has no intrinsic value.

Value is dictated by perceived worth and scarcity. It's how bitcoin maintains worth to the USD despite both being physically worthless in non-trade applications.

Only production of the necessities does but the plutocracy can't care less.

Fastest way to change a government: Reduce the food supply.

That's the reason why dumb, fat, and happy people make the best servants to rule over. What are they gonna do? Revolt? The battery on their scooter can't make it up the driveway to the mansion. Unless there's a chicken leg taped to it, most people do not care about pitchforks, and with the illusion of debt to act as a further stranglehold the rich really don't have much to fear.

At the bare minimum, if your life depended on it, you only need 2 acres of land to farm with and the occasional hunted animal. Yet nobody within 50 miles of me has their own garden or knows how to catch anything. They don't need to. You can order a pizza and it shows right up to your door.

People know their rights when they need them, and disregard their rights when they don't. Roof over your head? Food on the table? Braindead tv to drool at? The state provides. And so long as it does these people would let their neighbor burn to death rather than miss the next episode of American Idol.

^ ^ ^ I love how this video, that shows the truth of the revolution, the entire truth has a hundred views and more dislikes to likes.

Well... yeah. The less free the market, the less successful the capitalism.

The problem is government (US corp) was partly created to have oversight over the chartering of chain corporations that now lobby congress; at least a few fellows worked to this end, however, the rest of the 'corporate revolutionists'; bankers, corporate lawyers, land speculators who wrote and signed the constitution only did it as a company document to PROTECT THEIR ASSETS. The government has been hijacked by these 'special interests'. Look it's either they control US corp or you and I control US corp for the betterment of the whole community. It was created as a charter corporation for nothing. That's why I laugh at the constitutionalists. They don't realize they are a limited liability PERSONS of US corp and through lawerly rhetoric and lawerly lies the Federal Government has all but been hijacked by the private corporations for their own self-interests and profit.

What? The british crown has no legal authority over the internal operations of the states. I'd call that a win in my book?

Might want to read some charter documents here bud. There was no revolution. I'll spell it out for you, basically, St. Andrews/Scotland Freemasonic Grand Lodge was having issues over the jurisdictions of most places on the planet with East India Corp/London Colonization Company and English Grand lodges and they fomented a corproate war.

Hilariously, AFTER the corporation revolution, all the companies remain, they just changed their names. The New CORPORATE STATE CONSTITUTIONS, as every state is a corporation, never nullifed any of the British holdings or charters. Masons did both sides of the war. Just like the Rothschilds have done on many occasions, In teh end we lost fro mthe start.

Value is dictated by perceived worth and scarcity. It's how bitcoin maintains worth to the USD despite both being physically worthless in non-trade applications.

And again, zero intrinsic value, just illusionary fluff.

, if your life depended on it, you only need 2 acres of land to farm with and the occasional hunted animal. Yet nobody within 50 miles of me has their own garden or knows how to catch anything. They don't need to. You can order a pizza and it shows right up to your door.

Sure, yes, but how many farmers had to give up their land. The problem is people don't know how to do these things and are stuck in gross cities producing nothing. Eventually that leads to the farmer being on foodstamps and the Libertarian mad at the farmer. How many people actualyl own their land? No one. there is NO ALLODIAL TITLE.

              https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/wiki/BannedFromReddit

M7 didn't like documenting bans as he felt they made SaidIt look bad and I'd assume censor-happy. That's ridiculous and IMO he should have leaned into it, warts and all, and defended the concept that freedom of speech does not mean a free for all where asstrolls shit all over the place. Better to make examples of them, IMO, though that may not be a legit concept.

Agreed. It seems some moderation from the community is needed. Instead of a downvote, the community should be given another kind of vote option for shitposts that aren't insightful or funny (as long as the posts remain).

Ignoring it is your personal vote against wanting to see it.

I am obviously not at Saidit with the hope of creating an echo chamber for myself, even if one could do that. Why would anyone spend time at Saidit whilst wanting to censor the posts for themselves? That's against core principles of the site. There's no need to be here if you want to censor posts you don't like. I am sure others do it, but it's not in line with the Saidit ethos regarding free speech &c. And I am obviously not here because I agree with anyone. What's the point of that? (Numerous websites have material I agree with; I can visit those if I wish. Saidit helps offer alternative points of view. Blocking or censoring anything here would be ridiculous, if we are to appreciate the mission of the site.)

DioJr was banned by M7, unjustly IMO, with what little I know.

              Which list?

Full disclosure: I have yet to read this post and the 292 comments, so I'm not in the loop, nor for much of the last few months.

              [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

              The ban is surprising.

You link to this list, which has a 'revision' by Dio at the bottom, from 5 months ago:

              https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/wiki/bannedfromreddit

Indeed - the 292 comments on this post seem to indicate that there is a good number of users at Saidit who are very interested in it's development

              [–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

I stopped bothering with that list long ago, mostly because I felt it was inaccurate due to the countless things I'll never know about. Finding out from M7 was impossible. Everything else was luck. I had no interest in diving for a shit list few would read. The wikis on SaidIt are VERY under utilized.

I suspect I told DioJr about the list and it seems he added:

Thanks, /u/TheAmeliaMay. I've not seen - on Reddit for example, for 14 years - an admin work in this thoughtful manner. I've not been here long, and my main interest here is to understand alternative approaches of Saiditors (and I argue on occasion). But one issue that concerns me the most is the way in which free speech has been extremely important to those who want to spread disinformation and misinformation. I agree they should have their free speech on Saidit, but how do we value truth and honesty in the pyramid of debate? Not much can be done about misinformation, because that is potentially unintended. But the kind of disinformation favored by some on Saidit, and then discussed as if the material is factual, is troublesome. This already develops in extreme ways on Parler, Gab, The_Donald, &c, and by contrast there are better people on Saidit (in my view). I would ask for one change:

Ask mods to consider using a 'disinformation?' flair for posts that are obviously spreading lies.

The disinformation post would remain, but with the flair visible, and the question mark in the flair is important. Not that this should be applied religiously. And mods would have the option not to flair posts with this. Another potential flair could be - 'hate-speech?' or similar. I think the 'disinformation?' and/or 'hate speech?' flair would not censor anything, while also contributing to the pyramid of debate, by pointing out that the post itself promotes a discourse that's already at the bottom of the pyramid (eg. no reasonable evidence, name calling, and/or potentially advocating violence). This would be a way of promoting the pyramid of debate without censoring. Users should be compelled to remain on Saidit if it promotes more of the pyramid of debate, and less of the disinformation.

SlaveSocksBot hurry up and get extra-extra-vaccinated.

Gates just announced the need for a third jab, and he literally gives the WHO their marching orders.

I'm sure you know this already, but the wax side effects are normal, and they say it's an indicator that it's working.

If you're still working; then you haven't gotten enough injections.

              Kisses.

Also, put on a couple more masks.

You're mask keeps others safe, so spare no expense.

We'll all be relieved that you're safely vaccinated, when we no longer hear from you.

              Godspeed.

Let me guess, Tom: it would seem that you don't trust science, or vaccines. Whatever your beliefs, I hope you're not putting those around you (99% of whom respect science, the truth, &c) in danger by not wearing a mask at the grocery store.

I'm sorry, but it is you who don't understand science and are spreading disinformation.

There is no science in support of masks and lockdowns reducing the spread of a virus.

More people die from smoking even with the inflated PCR data.

              mr fred_red_beans,

if you just accept that they have one goal and that is to genocide the majority of the human species, i think that you will find it much easier to understand their intentions.

people are dying horrible deaths from the vaccinations.

i watched a video today about a lady that has convulsions all day and all night because of her "jab".. and she was a healthy and hot female prior to getting stuck.

i warn you to not take the vaccine, it will kill you.

masks do absolutely nothing, except they allow you to blend it more at the grocery store, you will attract less attention to yourself and your family.

              [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

WTF? Read the news and reports. It's easy to find the scientific studies of the benefits of masks. You're merely parroting idiotic opinions at Fox or and anti-vax site. And what is this 'spreading of disinformation' if 99% of the world is appropriately informed of the scientific benefits of wearing masks, but /u/fred_red_beans on Saidit obviously knows something they don't. The facts are right in front of you if you want to look for them.

              Let me guess, Tom:

              You're a terrible guesser.
However, you're probably not much wiser if/when fully informed.

it would seem that you don't trust science, or vaccines.

The experimental injectable mRNA gene therapy is not a vaccine.

              • This experimental gene therapy is officially experimental according to the CDC.
              • The experimental gene therapy has not been approved by the CDC, as the safety testing is currently being conducted on a massive experiment that is illegal, and absent if any informed consent.

              • The experimental gene therapy doesn't claim to stop the spread of any alleged virus.

              • The "virus" in question is officially labeled "SARS-COV2".

              • The experimental gene therapy is alleged to reduce the symptoms of "SARS-COV2".

              • The alleged symptoms are labeled "COVID-19", and the experimental gene therapy allegedly "reduces the symptoms", like reduced congestion, or fewer sneezes, or whatever.

The medical staff administering the experimental gene therapy are not notifying the experiment's "volunteers" that the therapy is not approved, or that they're volunteering for an experiment.
The mass gene therapy human experiment is scheduled to end around the beginning of 2023.

They will be medically tracked and traced until the end of the experiment.

This experiment is inconceivablly risky, for a supposed illness that's so deadly you need to be tested to know you have it.

Also, there isn't a single documented case of Asymptomatic transmission. None.

Zero evidence of any Asymptomatic transmission means the masks are a PsyOp to generate fear.

Nobody is getting ill at the supermarket.

Finally, no govt official has been willing to openly debate any critics, so you know they're lying..
A "global pandemic" and the govt won't debate the facts publicly.

The scamdemic is the crime is the century (so far).

These are factual statements, and are consistent with mountains observational data.
This has nothing to do with what I believe.

I am merely asking mods to try to support a pyramid of debate by adding flairs to submissions that may deserve an additinoal comment. In the rest of the thread here I note that the flair could be 'whatever you deem appropriate'. Not to worry, the disinformation will continue.

              [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

in which free speech has been extremely important to those who want to spread disinformation and misinformation.

That's jsut the PsyOp narrative. Conservative ZioCons will claim censorship whilst those censoring them are Zionists. Really they are after the normal person posting stuff that exposes Zionism. That was totally what the FED op riot was about. They are now trying hard to pass all kinds of domestic terrorist and laws making criticism of Israel a criminal offense.

Nah, I think people should be able to make up their mind if somethign is disinfo or not. I'm still here and probably 3/4ths of the stuff posted on ALL is pro-ZIonsit disinfo but it is easy for me to see.

Yep. The most obvious example was when they sacrificed Alex Jones for toys PsyOp. AJ's a shill.

I think people should be able to make up their mind if somethign is disinfo or not.

The fundamental reason for free speech.

Also, the reason education has been sabotaged, and propagandized.

Free speech is hamstrung by an ignorant and uninformed/misinformed public.

Yikes - I hope I am not pushing the PsyOp narrative, and definitely not a Zionist narrative. Per the thread here with Amelia, I am now wondering about 'uncivil' (per Amelia's advice) and 'misleading?' flairs. But I certainly don't wish to push a specific narratie (that I know of). I would note, however, that some mods - because they are human (it seems) - will occasionally have a narrative in mind for their subs, which the admins can hopefully watch. My main interest is to see if a pyramid of debate can be supported by mods if they flair troublesome posts.

But wait, you are one of the main disseminators of leftist disinformation on saidit. How can you now be disclaiming it?

Man, sometimes I don't know if you're really that brainwashed, or if you're just a really good troll. A point in your favor is that at least you don't live on the base of the pyramid like popper.

Node - I am much more moderate than left, on many issues, though I will seem on Saidit to be the communist, faggot, Chinese, fascist, shill that I am sometimes called by people who lack the brain cells to hold an argument. But rest assured, the extreme right-wing agenda my a few on Saidit, and their many posts are not impacted in the least by my occasional moderate post. I am not making any impact on Saidit, and certainly don't intend to. I am just here for the discussions and potential debates, when there are any worth having. But as you note, I will seem to you as 'brainwashed', whereas you seem to me to be also brainwashed. You also try the usual attempts to discredit me and call me names, which isn't worth anyone's time here on Saidit. If you think I've posted disinformation, note where and when you saw it, and I will provide corroborating evidence to the contrary.

              [–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

              Thank you!

But one issue that concerns me the most is the way in which free speech has been extremely important to those who want to spread disinformation and misinformation.

Yes, that's a major issue. All we can do is call them out and explain why they're wrong — so long as they didn't use alt accounts to vote on their own posts.

how do we value truth and honesty in the pyramid of debate?

Lying doesn't constitute a violation in of itself, but most who lie violate it in some way.

Ask mods to consider using a 'disinformation?' flair for posts that are obviously spreading lies.

              Mods can do that.

Another potential flair could be - 'hate-speech?'

I hate the phrase "hate-speech". It's a code-word used by the far-left to identify any opinion they disagree with. If someone's being uncivil: perhaps label them "uncivil" instead.

              [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (9 children)

I agree 'uncivil' is much better.

Perhaps instead of 'disinformation?', a mod could use 'misleading?' My main target for this is M7's politics sub, and I'll ask M7 in due course about considering a 'misleading?' flair (though I'm not keeping my hopes up).

I suspect mods get a list of rules when they start or join a sub. Perhaps a note in those rules about 'flairing' posts (with whatever they like) might help, particularly with regard to developing the pyramid of debate.

              [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

              Yeah, that's better.

              The mod rules are here.

              [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Thanks. Perhaps after the sentence, "This is how we can avoid the echo-chamber effect..." there could be:

To address potentially problematic submissions (though not comments), consider adding a 'flair' with the word, 'uncivil', or 'misleading?', or whatever you deem appropriate.

              [–]Node 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

consider adding a 'flair' with the word, 'uncivil', or 'misleading?', or whatever you deem appropriate.

...with legitimate citations that aren't simply disinformation themselves, which in current year is a MASSIVE problem.

              [–]Node 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Is 'white privilege' legitimate? What about microaggressions, or intersections? Did negroes really invent everything in use today? Did the Germans really holohoax a bunch of oven-dodgers?

There are real human beings (and some not) who live in that alt-reality, and would cite various mumbo-jumbo papers or studies to 'prove' they're right.

              [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I am not sure about all of this, but I remember the 'microaggressions' from a 3-hour, required training course, and remember thinking, perhaps 50% of what I say is a microaggression, because I like sarcasm. But it's not usually against other ethnic groups. So it was annoying to have to think of checking my microaggressions so that I don't hurt a person's feelings. No fun. But what I did appreciate from the training is that we should assess the potential and actual outcomes of our actions and what we say, rather than the intentions. It's annoying when people claim they never intended to cause a negative outcome, without them addressing the seriousness of the outcome. Thus, perpetuating uncivil and misleading speech can lead to bad outcomes regardless of the intentions. If for example a user notes - I hope you die in a fire - or similar, the intention and potential outcome are certainly understood as 'uncivil'. If the user says that a former CIA member confirms that Hilary Clinton worked in the basement of a pizza parlor in order to sell infant sex slaves to Chinese restauraunts, but no reliable evidence is provided, this is 'misleading?' The intention and outcome of disinformation like that are problematic.

There are definitely single owner multiple accounts hitting this post as well as other controversial posts in the past week, taking all sides and even pretending to fight with each other. I think I've figured out a few, but I don't know how deep it goes. There a a few more I am suspicious of. Because I know no one here IRL, I can't rule out any user names; even you or TAM. I find it odd that all these posts has happened in short order and now there is a push for a major power shake-up. Also, too many parallels with what's going on elsewhere. It reads like a story. Honestly, I'm losing faith in this place, and that's a big step towards boredom that will drain the enjoyment I get from participating or even visiting.

              [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Thanks for this explanation, which I agree with. I am not sure there will be a power shakeup. The tradition seems to be a hands-off approach to posts, which I think will continue. M7 and TAM seem to be rather consistent about that. But in this one discussion about doing things differently, we've seen a range of users expose their concerns, and this can only be good for Saidit, even if there are some users who seem to be very upset. Everyone should appreciate that Saidit is not likely to change in any significant manner with regard to its basic principles (free speech, mod transparency, &c).

              [–]Zapped 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I hope you are correct. I enjoy hearing the full spectrum of opinions and facts (and emotions) and I would like to think that I'm mature enough to sort through it on my own. I fully support rules and order when it comes to illegal activities or calls to violence (and even the pyramid of debate) and think they make this site better than a free-for-all, but I can also see some of the suggested changes evolving into the "hive mind" where any thought outside the accepted is shunned. Like I said, there are too many parallels to what is going on elsewhere and maybe this is just a social experiment by the admins or a bad actor at our expense. Maybe this is part of the death throes of this site. Maybe I'm overthinking this already. I don't know what to think anymore and putting more energy into that is a no-win for me until all this plays out.

I find it distasteful because it doesn't add anything to the site. There's no discussions. Just boring name calling.

It's only a matter of time before some idiot loses their mind over it.

So long as no rules are broken there's nothing to remove, so don't get your panty's in a twist. lol

Aren't they already conversing at the lowest level of the pyramid though? The pyramid punishes you for bringing the convo down the pyramid, not for conversing within a specific level of it.

Judaism is a cult. I posted all the sources. It is my opinion that rabbinicalism is anti-Christ and Christ thinks this too. I will keep talking about Zionist Jews that control the US government. I'm not claiming I hate them or asking for violence against them. Post all the pro-communist or fascist posts you want. we have a few on here calling African Americans niggers and two of them happen to be Jews which makes sense because Judaism thinks blacks were cursed and from Shem. Says it in the Talmud.

There should be a public trial sub. Then we can all look at the evidence and put our 2 cents in. Also, it will likely bring out more evidence as anyone can screenshot when they experience flagrant abuse which then gets deleted and post it at the trial.

This will definitely go a long way to build confidence in the site and destroy the bullshiters who claim the bans are censorship. It will get rid of the he said she said bullshit.

              [–]bobbobbybob 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (9 children)

so no reddit downvotes, so instead have a marxist public trial space where people can gang up on others to get rid of those dissident voices?

              whatever.

              [–]ReeferMadness 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (8 children)

That's absolutely not what this is. It's about making moderation transparent.

              [–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

public trials are simply bringing the vote brigading mechanism back, with disliked contributors (by a vocal subgroup) removed from the site by public spectacle rather than by downvote spamming.

Personally, I LOVE having /u/magnora7 as the admin, and i've supported all but one of his bans (/u/diogenesjunior, who I think fell foul of a long term mindfuck by TheAmeliaManiac). Democracy is a failed mechanism

              [–]ReeferMadness 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Moderation is required and is itself not the problem. The problem is the abuse of moderation to push an agenda. Free speech does not mean you are allowed to yell fire in a theater, or defraud someone. Not allowing spam does not make saidit "just like reddit". In fact that is a disingenuous argument designed to destroy saidit by flooding it with spam.

Since moderation is inevitable the only question is how best to do it. This is so far the best way I ever heard.

              [–]bobbobbybob 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

TheAmeliaManiac had a very specific set of limitations on the scope of his moderation. What he is proposing, while the site admin is away, is a gross overstepping of those limitations.

              [–]ReeferMadness 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

They aren't because vote brigades dont make arguments, they are done by bots, and they have no oversight.

A trial would be like an admin decision with transparency and intelligent input from the public. No one is getting booted because of retarded group think. There is an open discussion. This is exactly how it should be done and is exactly the opposite of what is done on platforms like reddit.

              [–]bobbobbybob 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

daymn. OK. so you are debating honestly and not just making it up as you go along to win.

As i'm trying to understand what you are saying, are you suggesting that the proposed 'public trials' would involve free and fair representation, debate that is not constantly derailed and interrupted by ameliamaniac and does not involve some kind of voting at the end?

Because that's not what would happen, but i don't want to ascribe that vision to your voice if i've misunderstood that as well

the primary function of these forums is to corrupt the family model and the friendship model.

these forums are designed to prevent one-on-one conversations.

and now everyone is trying to polish and perfect the forum operations model, and all that you are going to do is to fuck up humanity even more than it is.

in these forums, we dont even have the slightest clue about who or what we are chatting with...

would you do that in public? would you sit in your home or in your business or even at a coffee shop and have a conversation with someone that you cant see and you dont even know anything about them?

              okay then.

Why have you given up on your ridiculous accusations about me, lady?
Post links to my posts where I called someone a brainlet, post a link about how I suggested someone also visit other sites as well to see what they also offer (which, I'm assuming at this point you'll inevitably frame as me "sowing doubt about the integrity of this website" or something absurd), post the links to me suggesting the Reddit model has a shelf life, in which I (for you, pretty embarrassingly) also compliment magnora's job so far.

                What else do you have?
We'll inevitably conclude that I got heated in some exchanges and called people swine for "choking on pearls", since you've already set precedent for retracting these assertions.

Let's see what other "evidence" you have against me.
I don't see where you can go with this beyond "you're apart of some conspiracy with that ironleft thing I totally know all about".
Come on, I'm salivating here and I don't appreciate you suddenly going silent after making huge accusations which are entirely unfounded.

Then why do you comment? Why do you not flee back to 4chan? The answer is simple: your goal is to divide the user-base and ultimately destroy SaidIt — this has become apparent; you have allied yourself with the enemy.

Reddit shows us plainly that the consensus model is literally bastardized democracy on a non-governmental scale.
This is precisely how websites get ruined and especially countries. Consensus and Veracity having any correlation in cases like this is completely farcical.

                    [–]Drewski 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hey, I appreciate all the work you've done and I think most of the ideas here are good ones. I do have a couple of concerns, mainly

                    1. Illegal conduct. If you do anything illegal: you're getting banned without a trial. This includes calls to violence, sexualizing minors, and selling drugs.

I think there should still be some oversight, be it a trial, second opinion, whatever. Also some clarification; illegal by what standards, American law? Discussion of illegal things is actually legal under the First Amendment. Advocating violence is also a tricky one, because now the media and big tech are claiming that all kinds of things are "advocating violence", for example Trump saying people should "Fight like hell" to preserve the election or whatever. As for selling drugs, drug legality varies by jurisdiction and what's considered an "illegal drug" depends on where you live. Is "selling drugs" just specific to this platform, are links and information on darknet markets such as s/darknetmarkets going to be on shaky ground?

I realize there have to be some rules, my concern is just so that these can't be interpreted or used to stifle speech.

My second concern, and I hesitate to even bring this up, is a now deleted post you made on your /s/centrism sub where (and I'm paraphrasing here since the post is gone, so correct me if I'm misstating this) you said I was a "far-right extremist" for this Lysander Spooner quote. Now we're all entitled to our opinions and I wouldn't take that away from you, but it does worry me somewhat now that you're in a position of authority that you consider Lysander Spooner quotes "extremist" and how that could affect moderation in the future.

Public Trials is a horrible idea. It will only make things worse. If you are going to ban someone ban them, and if they can make a case against it reverse it.

Edit: see s/gov for discussion about how SaidIt should be administrated. Credit to u/ReeferMadness for the idea.

Why not use /s/meta for it? It seems like a more obvious choice. Or just use this already used sub for it.
