Saidit App: Replies Received to Post/Comment Notification Not Working
submitted 5 months ago * by raven9 from self.SaidIt
I feel sure the saidit app used to have a notification when replies were received by the inbox or was that only on the similar reddit app? Anyway that app feature is not working. Android 10. Saidit App v 18.104.22.168

From what I remember, RedReader never had push notifications. You have to refresh the app/click on something to get new replies and messages.

It does seem messed up. On Android 10, I can only see it checking for new inbox messages when the apps starts up. What version of android do you have? Maybe it's time for a new release.

Yes I am using Android 10 too. It seems Android changed something about the way notifications are handled since saidit was last updated I am not seeing any at all from the saidit app.

I just use the web app (you can download web apps from play store) the saidit app hasn't been updated since 2019 anyway.
