People just hear what they want to hear and read what they want to read. As an aside clear concise communication can take you wildly far in life, especially nowadays

It is funny that English has become the language of the internet when it has this tonal part to its meaning.

Also this is why your mother complains Spanish people speak too loudly in public, that language has an emphasis in every word while English usually only has one emphasis per sentence.

Next level: sometimes the intended message itself isn’t 100% woke-approved and that’s not automatically a bad thing. Like, if I say “sending Lindsay Ellis death threats was a massive overreaction and I’m glad she didn’t apologise”, wokies will UNDERSTAND what I’m saying but they still won’t like it, and that doesn’t mean that I’m wrong.

People are generally blind to the kind of stuff that get says on the internet unless they've been subjected to it personally. It's why the otherwise woke people get targeted by it and eat their own. They don't understand how the mob mentality works. It's perfectly fine to give criticism or condemn people's actions but when such things are magnified by the voices of millions the most extreme and violent positions end up spreading. It's no different than how political movements become radicalized, religions become radicalized. You are insulated and otherwise unaware of these troubling aspects as they are directed outwards until you find yourself as a member of the outgroup and targeted by it.

It's why it's vitally important to have a consistent self-established ideological base. And not fall blindly to the tautologies that infect popular discourse. Things are rarely as simple as a three word slogan.

Your average medically retarded person has a far better grasp on critical thought than these gender studies cultists.
