Clearly we live in a truly progressive and advanced society when we cut gay people's dicks off as part of a government funded medical treatment. The United Kingdom is very much sets itself apart as a progressive beacon of tolerance compared to such intolerant backwards countries like the Islamic Republic of Iran.

'He complains that doctors did not warn him of the drastic outcome of the body-altering surgery which has left him infertile, incontinent and feeling like a ‘sexual eunuch’.

Not much euphoria, then?

I know people like to claim that the doctors are pushing this for the money, and there's probably more than a bit of truth to that. But seeing how utterly nuts the troons get when they don't get instantly accommodated in their every demand, how they'll just rain crazy all over someone's career and personal life for the "crime" of denying their reality? Well, if I were that doctor, I'd smile and give them what they demand. Fuck having everything I put years or decades of effort into tanked because some gender-bent nutter with a maggot in their brain decides that surgery is actually magic and can give them real boy/girl parts instead of merely cosmetic fakes.

And, of course, he lays all of the blame on everyone else for his problems now and none for himself.

I mean I do think it's sad that if that's the case the doctors can't do their jobs and give their patients the most realistic options on the results.

That and looking at an article about Tavistock not too long ago they push for it to a disturbing extent. There was a girl that liked Thomas and hated periods and therefore she was trans.

Exactly.

They should be able to allow detransitioners to sue, but at the same time, there should also be the "careful what you wish for, you just might get it" clause: if the doctor/parents can prove, conclusively, the detransitioner threatened suicide if the doctor did not let them transition, then it should count as the people being threatened into doing it and those people should not be held liable.

The doctors who do this kind of very specialized surgery aren't doing it reluctantly. Some of it is money but I think they're mostly Frankensteins who want dolls to practice on.

Being a eunuch is the whole point of having your balls removed. I don't know what he expected.

Did he really not know the potential repercussions of getting your junk cut off? I'd say this is more on him than anyone else. The doctors didn't force him into the procedure and its one of those things in life that you want to be really, REALLY sure you're ready to go through with before you actually go and do it.

More and more, real life is turning into an extended South Park episode.

I think the way they talk about sex hormones means they think they are all about being masculine or feminine when in reality the right levels keep your body healthy all round.

I mean to be fair you expect your doctor to tell you about the risks. Like they're the experts so I would think that any possible issues would be mentioned so that you can assess the risk yourself. If it's not being mentioned do you know all the issues that might come from it? You should trust the doctor to be telling you everything you need to know. If someone is only being told by their doctor that this will help them can you blame them for listening?

I'm not saying he's not an idiot. Just that the doctors should absolutely be mentioning all risks.

There are troons who think their dicks are clits and vice versa, so why are you surprised?

This is all extreme magical thinking mixed with repackaged hippie shit.

They reduce being male/female to "muh gendered soul" and think straight/gay people feel sexual attraction based on this gendered soul, not actual material reality.

It's no wonder they're so deluded to think that a few shots of cross sex hormones will make them the opposite sex, this is the basis of the whole ideology.

its tempting to be contemptuous of these guys, but they've realized their mistake and can help others realize it before they mutilate themselves. They should be given acceptance and empathy. Just my opinion.

Well duh. The whole point behind this movement is to create a generation of traumatized, sick people. Then they say, "get angry! look who did this to you!" and point the finger at civilized society. Then the revolution comes and the hard left is in power. Forever.

The essay Exiting the Vampire's Castle details what it's like to be on the hard left. Everyone is miserable all the time and constantly witch-hunting. Please share the essay around, it's really good. And mention that the author was roundly criticized for writing it and afterwards they hounded him until he killed himself to stop the torture.

On the one hand, I love the idea of lots of lawsuits against these mutilation doctors. On the other hand, WTH was this moron expecting?!?

See this was a big thing I was thinking about the other day. Women who want to get their tubes tied or get a hysterectomy have to jump through dozens of hoops to do so. Because doctors are worried that she will regret it and potentially sue them.

  1. They usually have to be in their 30s. Not 21, not 18, certainly not 13, but 30+.

  2. They have to get permission from their spouse or significant other often.

  3. They often have to either already have kids or freeze embryos.

Yet we are letting 13 year old children undergo much more drastic changes that involve sterilization, for a procedure that supposedly prevents suicide, but statistically does nothing to this effect.

What am I missing here? Is this not crazyville?

[–]DimDroog 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Really, really pisses me off about female sterilization. It shouldn't be THAT hard to get.

See user/LorfoftheFlies comment above. You cannot blame all of the doctors. Speaking out against this, not acquiescing to the insane demands of the trans patients, will literally get them stripped of their medical licenses. All they can do is say "sure, here's the script/surgery appt". It's absurd.

Just think of all the salty lawsuits going forward. The surgeons will be pretty much immune but everybody else that talked people into body altering "treatment" will be fair game.

Anyone read his Twitter thread on the experience? It's horrifying:

Wow - I feel bad for this guy's situation. Yes he's an adult and should have known better, and yes you can't blame others for not stopping your stupid actions, but the enormity of his poor decision must be staggering and he has a long life ahead if he chooses to live it. I liked the comment from CanisRex below, that maybe he can help others who are being being brainwashed by the media and others, to not take that fatal leap. A very sad story.

Really?

Maybe. Was he jabbed? :-/

If the doctor refused, he would've sued the establishment for transphobia. For the doctor, there was no winning move.
