There is a light. But it's a train about to run you over and demand that you suck the girlcock. So open up and enjoy the mouthfeel, bigot.

But seriously, this shit didn't happen overnight and it's not going to be solved overnight either. There is some progress being made, most notably in some sports banning trans athletes from competition unless they meet exceptionally strict guidelines (so no more "I feel like a woman, and therefore I am one, now let me compete as one" bullshit).

However, this crap grants enormous power (and money) to the people flogging it along, and they're not going to give it up easily or quickly. And even if it does get pushed out of most areas, it'll never actually get down to where it was, say, 10 years ago. Not after the supporters have had a taste of the control it grants.

Man, I know the feeling... do I ever. Had more days when I'm downright despondent over this genderology plague than I can count.

But there is cause for hope. An expose of the Tavistock in the Times, the policy changes in athletics... even (horrible as it is to say) the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The latter because it makes the reality of "woman" being about biological sex, NOT "genderfeelz", painfully clear. No "transwoman" is going to be forced to serve as a brood-mare, that's for damn sure. Maybe this will cause the otherwise trans-captured women's organizations to wake up. Ditto LGB organizations, now that the right to same-sex marriage, and even to engage in same-sex sex (Lawrence v. Texas), are next on the chopping block. Neither will affect "transbians", "gay trans men", or "non-binary" straight people one whit; you'll still be perfectly free to marry/date/fuck those of the opposite sex, regardless of how you (or they) "identify". Proof positive of how meaningless that actually is.

Overall, when this situation feels especially bleak, I'd suggest that you remember three things:

  • This is a fad. Like Pet Rocks, eating Tide Pods, and the Macarena. And like all of those, it will become passe and die off.
  • Lots of other stuff seemed so entrenched that it would NEVER go away... until it did. The unassailable power of tobacco companies and the ubiquity of cigarette smoking; drunk driving as funny and no big deal; the impossibility of same-sex marriage ever being legalized on a national level in America (civil unions were the best that we could hope for, everyone assured us).
  • When the emperor has no clothes, most everybody can already see it; they just need a critical mass publicly declaring, "he's BUTT-NEKKID!!!" to show them that they're not the only ones.

Please don't give up, OP. Reality needs all the support that it can get these days! And so do those of us who recognize and value it.

There's a religious revival brewing like the pentacostalist movement in the early 1920's. But it's going to see the return of the religious progressive SJW types rather than the secular progressive SJW types. So things will change but stay very much the same as human society always has. What will change for me and you is we'll get a revival period in art for awhile during the swing. And again when it swings back. And new jokes will be written that are funny.

[–]Newzok 10 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 2 fun -  (15 children)

Look, my prediction is that it will roll back but unfortunately there will be a lot of victims involved. I.e the female to male trend; it's unstable girls with body issues who'd otherwise be anorexic/emo/whatever jumping on the gender wagon(read the Sunday Times article, it's insane). But due to the nature of this beast, they get involved with hormones, removing their tits etc. These types of girls usually get better once they're in their late 20s, except now they've done irreparable damage to themselves and are sterile. There's a lot of them; once they get over this phase there will be a shitstorm a'coming and the institutions enabling this will get pretty damn cancelled. Unfortunately I think it'll take the LGBs with it in the public eye.

As a G it worries me a little(how many of us are just gay and bothered that this gets mixed into our gay communities? It's like having to bring your friend's sister in to play and then she starts making rules). The pendulum has gathered a lot of momentum in one direction and once it swings back... Cling to your rights.

[–][deleted] 11 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

It sucks so bad that LGB has to be lumped in with T. Sexuality and gender identity aren't even remotely the same thing :/

I'm calling it LGBMI (Mental Illness) from now on. No need for 52 extra letters after the B that way.

Also, can you send me the Sunday Times article you're talking about? I tried googling and a few different ones came up.

Unfortunately I think it'll take the LGBs with it in the public eye.

I think so as well. After decades of fighting for acceptance among an heterosexual majority to being dragged down due to the actions perverts and degenerates. Wish you luck, I don't think homosexual activity is going to criminalized like it once was, hopefully it will just be taboo to discuss among polite company.

[–]Newzok 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Well I reckon it'll go back to being frowned upon but this time with the association of fucking up the youth. I really wish that wasn't part of all of this.

Putting my conspiracy hat on, it feels like a way for the powers that be to completely subvert the progress we've made- this shit is alienating and atomising and gets everywhere like the proverbial sand. Look no further than the pride flag... We're going from a group that was, if not entirely a community, at least generally unified towards a common goal. Now it's a woke mess and trans discourse takes over in just about every group, small or large(a friend told of a little gay social circle that met now and then. In with the trans, and soon it was all the group was about. He left, as did a few others). With all the uncritical push for tq+ and the amount of money that must be spent; corporate policy, media outlets, health centres, the censorship on social platforms - is it strange that it seems like some organisation is pulling the strings? Without massive funding to back it, this tiny group would remain the niche curiosity that it is.

[–]Chipit 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The T are just a battering ram being used to wreck our society. When their job is done they will be unceremoniously dumped by the wayside. You know, just like what happened with the gays. The gay white male is the new straight white male. You can call people like Pete Buttigeg or Glenn Greenwald or Dave Rubin disgusting faggots in polite society and nobody will bat an eye. Lesbians are called deplorable bigots all the time for refusing to suck the clit just because it is an outie.

A lot of us saw this coming a long way off, but you just called us disgusting bigots and refused to listen. We saw clearly that gay marriage was going to lead to trans, and after that pedo. And what's happened? I'm sure it felt good while you were doing it, though. I hope it was worth the feeling of self-righteousness.

[–]Newzok 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Well I agree with your first paragraph. But who could have foreseen the massive psy-op that followed? Trans people already had rights. There's just an insane amount of visibility and demoralisation now because of, well, outside influence. Don't push the wokies' modus operandi onto the gays, man. We're through with this shit, as are the lesbos. This is something pushed by the PMC and half-studied academic women, backed by billionaire-funded think-tanks.

[–]Chipit 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You got the ball rolling. And now the Frankenstein monster you built is tearing you apart. If there had only been some warning! Oh wait people like me were shouting from the rooftops and all you did was call us bigots and censor us.

[–]Newzok 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think it probably was more polarised in America, but then everything is. No need to be salty at me, man. We got gay marriage(which I'm personally skeptical towards but ah well) yonks ago in my country and we were happy to just fade out of the public eye, which happened for about a decade over here. Note that none of this woke shit was an issue until it started bubbling up around 2015...

[–]wylanderuk 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Nah it looks more like activists had to find something else to be activists about because it was the activism that is the end goal not say gay marriage or legal equality.

Oh aye and lets not try and airbrush some of the absolute cunts that you had in the GL part of LGBT.

Fuck just look at political lesbians for instance.

[–]On_WheelsWe need to secure the existence of the gay race 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

People get (understandably) worried and angry if they feel their children are being corrupted or led astray. Still if that's the full extent of the regression...

Oof sorry to hear about you friend's little social circle, why do trans need to be a bunch of attention whores, doesn't that go against the whole idea of passing as the other sex? Funny you mention a conspiracy, I've thought the same as well, this whole phenomenon is way too sudden and way too powerful for some people to not have been conspiring to bring it about. I do have some ideas on who and why might be supporting the transsexualism, even if it does sound a bit kooky:

  1. Biotech/Pharmaceutical corporations wanting a more widespread acceptance and usage of hormones. Having most of the population buying your hormones and going under the blade so they can appear as the "gender" they "really are" would usher in enormous profits. The now private said s/LGBDropTheT actually had a few articles discussing the connections between transsexuals and big pharma.

  2. Activists without a job. With the gay marriage in America being legalized in 2015, and with a majority of the populace showing an acceptance of LGBT people, suddenly a lot of activists and organizations who had their livelihoods dependent on the fact said LGBT people weren't accepted found themselves out of a job. Solution? Turn towards the kookier members of the T and the Q. Keep pushing for the most nonsensical and insignificant rights of an extreme minority of the populace and keep that gravy train rolling, even if it means the other three letters got to suffer for it. Think Stonewall (UK) is an example of this.

  3. Anyone wanting to roll back LGB rights. If you're someone who despises LGB but know it's now unacceptable to speak out against them, what would you do? Well you keep pushing for more and more extreme and malevolent actions among the T, hoping that when public opinion turns against trans you can remove lesbian and gay rights too. A combination of guilt by association and accelerationism. Probably not true, but I wouldn't be surprised if fanatics were considering this idea seriously on some remote corner of the internet.

[–]Newzok 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I think your first point is a big part of it. Big pharma have their fingers in every damn pie and it wouldn't surprise me if they were to blame. This is a huge source of revenue, and as long as it keeps coming they'll keep pushing it. Sad as it is, the way to become an accepted minority in this system is to become a demographic it's profitable to sell things to.

I'm not too sure about the idea that activists ran out of issues. Most mellow out after a certain age.

A lot of this is traceable back to academia it seems, i.e gender studies, queer theory etc. Without academic clout, the whole movement has no legs. But it's necessary for it to gain acceptance through schools, institutions and so on. It seems damn huge if it involves so many aspects, but it's not exactly unheard of that universities are used as a way to subvert the status quo. In the end, you get clown world, people can't agree on anything because everything is subjective, alienation and atomization is huge, big corporations make all the money and nobody ever talks about class differences, grass roots organisation or real issues that have tangible effects.

[–]On_WheelsWe need to secure the existence of the gay race 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It's repugnant, but it makes too much sense. Big pharma has its hands on this transsexual phenomenon, there is simply far too much to gain for them not to be involved with. I don't know how true that last statement is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.

Didn't think about it, but a lot of this started manifesting in universities. Where the most curious and open-minded people congregate, it makes sense for sexual norms and eventually, sexual identity itself to have been questioned. As the student body graduated and transsexuality memes became more widespread among the campus it'd eventually spread into wider society, especially if there are other interests friendly to it. A little sad to see how successful it's been at distracting leftists and so many intelligent people from issues affecting the environment and most of the population. I don't want to invoke the fallacy of "Appeal to Worse Problems" (if trans right are indeed a worse problem), but there seems to me to exist a gross imbalance between the attention paid to trans issues and the amount of people it actually affects.

[–]Newzok 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah it feels ridiculous to even talk about it, it's the tiniest minority and in the scheme of things, not even a human rights issue, it's a social one. Pollution, environmental issues, even just health issues should take precedent.

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Most people have known it's bullshit from the very beginning. A very vocal (and influential) minority is leading the charge. It might get worse before it gets better, but the truth always comes to light.

I've observed in my real life circles (and I still silently belong to some pretty woke circles) that even people who toe the line on doing the pronoun thing are by and large just doing it out of politeness and don't actually believe that these people are anything other than addle-brained. Applied to wider society, I think we've all been cowed into silence, rather than belief. The cracks are showing in the dam however, and once its more acceptable to say you don't believe this nonsense without fear of losing your job, I think we'll see a flood of people who go back to laughing at how fragile we all were for a spell.

[–]hfxB0oyADon't piss on my head & tell me it's raining. 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Also, once we do laugh at it and it's very apparent that calling these people silly doesn't lead to sending them to the gas chambers, I think society in general will be able to collectively exhale and chuckle ongoingly at their expense once again.

Even with the massive tranny push, only 0.33% of Canadians called themselves one last year. Once this fad calms down, I expect this number to be cut to way less than half.

Edit: And of that number, 41% called themselves "non-binary" which is current speak for "My purple hair isn't a phase, mom!"

[–]jacques1102 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I had to look it up,but Canada has a population of 38,400,010.According to the article, the 0.33% of the trans population is a total of 100,815 people. Why exactly is society pandering to these people?

[–]hfxB0oyADon't piss on my head & tell me it's raining. 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Because we're generally loathe to cause a scene. And if anyone is sure to cause a scene, it's the troons. So we all chicken out and pretend we give a shit about their foolishness.

Sorry but nope.

I'm afraid that this gender insanity won't end in the near future unless some radical conservatives will rise to the power, which is unlikely to happen. Or maybe......?

[–]LordoftheFliesAmeri-kin 2.0. Pronouns: MegaWhite/SuperStraight/UltraPatriarchy 15 insightful - 2 fun15 insightful - 1 fun16 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Radical conservatives would only end up bringing in a new set of problems, and a new set of muppets to deal with. So it's not any sort of solution sane people want. It's like trying to deal to with a roach infestation by setting your house on fire.

[–]LyingSpirit472 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Of course. While u/PenseePansy was right about the claims, ultimately the reason it'll stop is why we're getting all of these problems:

Radical Conservatives don't care who gets the credit as long as they get their way. Radical leftists truly believe anything short of their way (and likely them, personally, in power) is the same as radical conservatives getting their way, and they're willing to block even minor improvements if they don't get their platonic ideal. They have an outright fetish for being Harry Potter fighting the Nazis, and the fetish is so big they'll hand the Nazis power so they get to be the one who stops them...and when EVERYONE thinks like that, they'll never get a consensus and let the right-wing take over.

The times might be dark, more in some countries than the others, but I know there’s hope. There can be still resistance to REAL abuse and oppression and brainwashing.

I am myself an example of it, I used to support some of woke views (even though I was never as rad as others, I maintained some of my common sense but I’m still deeply ashamed of these few years) and I changed. I understood that various things I used to support (and my ex-friends supported) are actually harmful and go against my other values in life. Furthermore, they often cover real problems. It’s like caring about petty (but dangerous as well) stuff while letting go some serious wounds untreated. But we all deserve a healing.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I understood that various things I used to support (and my ex-friends supported) are actually harmful and go against my other values in life.

It's interesting you bring this up. I was talking with my therapist about why gender ideology in particular bothers me, and she helped me see that it's because it directly contradicts my values - my number one value being the importance of truth and integrity. Other values include my importance on family, and that gender ideology and its activists have actively pushed to violate the family unit and tear people apart.

Have you also lost friends over woke ideology? I've lost a bunch. But then again, perhaps that is a sign that they were never really my friends to begin with.

[–]FlyingKangaroo 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It’s interesting. I hope this comparison helped you; it’s good you got to talk about it without being shamed for your views.

Yes, I did; in fact these were two closest friends I had at that time. Funnily, they cut contact with me almost for no reason at all - just stopping all contact one day and only messaging me back when I was worried they’re not active anymore in spaces where we chatted (they also happen to live in same city but I luckily I don’t meet them anymore). Out of the blue, they decided not to hang out anymore with me because apparently to them I was a prude and a bigot, even though I never did anything against them. When it happened I was sad over such bizarre happenings but later I realized it was actually better to me to lose contact with them. I go on very well.

I also knew some other people who became woke and lost contact with them too, but out ends of contact weren’t as dramatic as that; just fading out because everyone went their own way. In one case I had some quarrel with a girl who became a trans man (only knew her online due to shared hobby). And it was she that began the quarrel - just because she learned I talked to our other friend who was disappointed because the girl-trans man treated her badly (nothing to do with woke stuff, it was before her coming out). The trans-to-be one was angry at me for daring to criticize her in a conversation she didn’t even participate in. Acted quite angry and childish. We resolved this somehow but more time later our friendship naturally loosened and after even a longer time I saw she suddenly calls herself a man.

I agree with you a lot. At some point you got to see they were never as good friends as you thought before. I don’t even need to recall the times when everything was good and they weren’t infected by wholeness yet - it just doesn’t matter anymore as I have other things to enjoy in life.
