If all White people suddenly disappeared tomorrow there would be a global societal meltdown of unfathomable proportions. Just look at South Africa if you want a preview.

Whiteness physically recedes but it never vanishes completely. It has a psychological grip; lest we forget, identity is more than a badge of flesh. The newly “dark people” of Hamid’s epic appear to embrace different outlooks but, really, what has happened is more of a costume swap than an adjustment of the soul. The characters operate in a kind of cultural drag, entombed in an unrecognizable self, a sort of living elegy of their former whiteness.

I think it is the other way around. Look at the black population of America, are they getting progressively more black, or progressively more white?

The more I read this kind of shit the more I realize peple all over the world are jealous of my whiteness. They look in the mirror and see their ugly dark skin and wonder what it would be like to be white. Well, being white feels good. I walk in public with my head high knowing darkies look at me and lust to have my pink white skin. White people even look cleaner than darkies. A dirty white girl looks cleaner (and hotter) than a clean nigra girl. Maybe that's why even black guys prefer white girls even if they are fat.
