It’s not surprising. Matt Walsh, whatever you think of his beliefs and politics, has spoken truth to power and he will now suffer the consequences.

Much in the same way they deployed Jon Stewart, who himself once spoke truth to power, to attempt to debunk the arguments made by Walsh in What is a woman? and the exposé of Vanderbilt but instead of a debunking, Stewart just stood up a strawman and swung wildly and ineffectually at that.

The tailors of the Emperor’s New Clothes are fighting back against the growing chorus of little boys calling out that the Emperor is naked. They’re fighting back, but ultimately they will lose.

Well, there's the problem: Saying "What is a woman" is only able to be fought by strawmen, simply because the people fighting's counter is "I think, therefore I am". Once you argue "What is a woman?", the response by a snart will inevitably be "I. I am a woman", and "I am what I say I am" is the one argument you can never convince someone against.

No matter what you say otherwise, the belief they, personally, are what they say they are is their religion. Nothing you can say or do will change their mind, because their entire existence is built around "they, personally, are what they say they are", and to say "No you are not" is to say they're wrong. (Note: All sides have made it clear that the one thing any person will fight back on is "You're WRONG, and you don't really believe what you claim you do"...and if you try to, they'll be pushed further into that belief solely so you don't get to WIN.)

It's pretty fucking funny though.

"What is a woman."

"A woman is anyone who identifies as a woman"

"Yes but what is that thing they are identifying as?"

Crickets. Error file not found.

"A woman."

"Right but what is that?"

"A person who identifies as a woman."

"So when they tell me they identify as a woman, what are they telling me about themselves?"

"You'd have to ask them."

"So the word has no meaning."

"It has a very clear meaning which I've told you multiple times: a person who identifies as a woman."

Actual conversation I've had.

I like these conversations. Very productive.

Ok so a woman is defined as "someone who identifies as a woman, namely someone who identifies as someone who identifies as a woman, or rather, someone who identifies as a woman is someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who identifies as someone who ..... Infinite recursive loop abridged for your reading pleasure".

Therefore I state that I hereby identify as a woman. My identify is valid because I have just validated it. And as a woman I hereby declare that a woman is someone "who is biologically female" and that trans women including myself are not women. I have changed the definition, my right as a woman to define woman as woman. You're welcome ladies.

While I have mixed feelings about Matt Walsh his subreddit getting banned should raise some serious questions about the use of the ban on reddit. Not that it'll actually happen nobody wants to hear any opinions but their own these days.

Those questions have already been raised with prior sub bans, and the general response (when there is one to begin with) can be summed up as "because fuck you, shut up Nazi." Unless the sub is complete fluff, approved "information," or troon recruiting and validation dens, it's got a target on it at this point.

Yeah, Reddit is just trannit at this point. Redditors are just a bunch of Rediots.

It’s sad to see that while that site has some nice more niche subs, it’s all going to shit. Trannies even hijacked the Bionicle sub. Nothing is safe with them.

Nothing is safe with them.

That's kind of my whole problem with the gender crap. A man strutting around in a dress makes himself the dominant feature of any grouping of people he finds himself in. Quick... name a decathlete! Name an admiral in the Public Health Service! Name a collegiate swimmer!

And this isn't because of some bias of mine or some aspect of my socialization. It's inherent. Distorting sex and gender is just objectively intrusive and attention-grabbing, and that's probably a big part of its twisted appeal.

It's a process that happens on any sort of popular website. Only people who spend inordinate amounts of time on them are children or loser adults (hello there fellow adult losers).

Eventually the moderators just end up becoming the loser adult children who won't even qualify for HOA boards.

Go watch the fox news interview with the /r/antiwork reddit mod it was fucking hilarious. "Laziness is a virtue".

Should be reddits motto.

Since saying trans-women and cis-women are different on Reddit is enough to warrant a permanent suspension from the site I wonder what they even talked about.

[–]FlyingKangaroo 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

More like trans-women and women. But I get what you mean.

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

If trans-women were women then they wouldn't be trans-women, they would just be women.

[–]LyingSpirit472 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, there's the point. The respectful one is not trans-women and cis-women, it's true women and fuckholes. Use the most respectful term for each one.

I didn’t even know he had a subreddit.

I don’t know much about Walsh, I was mostly hearing about his What Is A Woman movie - but like others, I got a feeling I would disagree with him over various things but I support his stance on trans issue. He’s asking real question with it.

And what can we expect from a site that hosts certain porn subs fetishizing violence and enables grooming and pandering to trans perverts?

I think he's a great podcaster. Agree or not, he expresses his views eloquently. And often with hilarious dry wit and satire. I highly recommend today's episode. His segment on pitbulls (re: the recent mauling of 2 kids) is heartfelt and should appeal to people of any political leaning. The left always comes off ingenuine by comparison.
