Yeah, the chest scars remind me of those saggy enlarged earlobes you see sometimes from back when those big black earlobe rings became trendy. Trends come and go, but deformities are forever.

And lots of Tik Tok.

That thing is Chinese psyops designed to destroy the west and I don't know why they're just letting it run rampant. (Probably because banning it would be RAYCISS or some shit.)

Liberals think banning Tik Tok is racist. Libertarians think banning it is censorship. Conservatives are simply oblivious to Tik Tok, except for young conservatives, who want to ban it.

Generally, I am against censorship. I believe in freedom of speech and communication to a greater degree than most people I know. But I believe that an exception can be made for foreign entities, because foreign entities like Tik Tok can be subversive.

At least shitty dyed hair can regrow to normal and makeup can be washed off...

Lots of regret to go around for all the ridiculous irreversible fads of the past decade.

We are facing a tsunami of sleeved bingo wings, tatted up turkey necks and perforated septa.

I laugh myself sick sometimes picturing all of those soundcloud rappers when they hit 60 or so, and all of that shit on their faces reminds them of what utter dumbasses they were decades back.

Of course, for those people, living past 30 without ending up in prison is the real accomplishment.

Ensuring you can never work a regular 9-5 in some soul sucking job where you're lucky to get a cubicle is not totally without merit.

The whole reason that's a problem is because the public school system makes each generation more unquestioning and obedient than the last. No one stands up to it anymore. And when they complain, the same elites exploiting them promise to fight for them, and they actually fall for it.

I mean the argument against tattoos is "it'll look bad when you're older," but the punks didn't literally make a positive virtue out of getting fatter

Hahaa, bingo wings. Never heard that one before! 😂

Sad but true. And very accurate. In generations past, kids would just change up their hair and their clothes, and adopt a sort of subculture or an outward look. Completely reversible. No damage done. This new stuff is awful.

[–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

The last one is the least reversible. Except that it is not reversible at all. I’m nervous about what the generation after will be like.

[–]Wanderingthehalls 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

There is some suggestion that the current generation of kids is more conservative than the previous one. Not only is it natural for kids to rebel against what they are taught. But I've heard anecdotes from mothers of young teenagers who are sick of the cry bullies in their classes transing and expecting special treatment. I have a preteen and he is angry with non-binaries for trying to cancel Mr Beast over some boys v girls challenge he did. So kids are getting quietly sick of what's going on.

[–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

That’s good to hear. I guess those zoomer trans monsters are making their classmates extremely uncomfortable.

[–]LyingSpirit472 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's good, but it seems like if the pendulum is shifting, that shift's going to be way too hard.

This is doubled since when the generations shift what they believe in, it can boil down to "getting back at Mommy and Daddy by having some belief that they hate"- and we look close to realizing what happens when parents say "I'll love you no matter what you are...unless you become a Nazi."

[–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah. Always be careful what you wish for.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You nailed it. Most people don't understand this and actually jump on this bandwagon themselves.

Ever since the summer of 2020 (we all know why) support for the "alt-right" has shot up. They no longer have any actual beliefs other than opposing the left. And it's scary because that's exactly how the left sunk to such low levels.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's actually very bad, it's one of the major sources of this "new right" that's basically the left's living strawman.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Except these kids still believe the media's portrayal of the right as fascists, so they legitimately turn to fascism.

I’m nervous about what the generation after will be like.

Sober, straight-laced conservatives who think that only heterosexual sex between married people is acceptable. Truly, the left's greatest nightmare.

[–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Yes, that would definitely scare shit-libs off. Telling a shit-lib that sex between a man and a woman who are not married to each other will get upset because you’re excluding open relationships and cuckoldry. To be fair, if a man and a woman are living together as if they are married, and they are not married to anyone else, then I don’t see what they’re doing as sinful.

As for same-sex relationships, those should be acceptable within committed, monogamous relationships too. But I cannot blame people who find them unacceptable under any circumstances, on account of how the Alphabet Soup lobby has been behaving. I don’t want homophobia to make a comeback, obviously because I am gay, but the behaviour of the Alphabet Soup lobby is only going to increase the odds of that happening.

They already are making it happen.

That’s right. And the irony is that a lot of these “queer” people will become homophobes just because it is trendy.

And if they're old enough, they probably were back in the days when Joe Biden was complaining about "racial jungles".

[–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yep. Proof that a lot of people are lemmings, who believe only what the media tells them what to believe.

[–]Vulptexghost fox girl ^w^ 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah...that's kind of problematic too.

We really need a call back to freedom or the whole country's going down the shitter. It's probably too late as it is.

I'd argue that millennials are the ones who cut their dicks off because emotional issues and lack of safe spaces triggering them. Goth was already there as a sub group for Gen X. Gen Zs are overall tougher than millennials or as I prefer to call them, Gen Why? or Gen Whine.
