    I'm not worried about these stupid kids actually banding together and getting shit done. I'm worried about competent people riling them up to disrupt the normal functions of society so everyone is busy wasting their energies on that while the power hungry puppet master types just slide on in and take advantage of the chaos.

    You can see the idiots being useful all over the place. My favorite was the climate protests in London where they stopped the trains. Great mate, you're saving the climate by making everyone cab into the city. Think about that for a second. What pollutes more? An electric train or a bunch of cars sitting idle in traffic?

    Exactly. Plenty of people recognize the immediate issues, but relatively few care to think about the wider implications and the root causes of those issues. Fighting the symptoms while ignoring the underlying disease can be fatal.
