“Emily” Bridges, infamous troon cyclist, lost his shit after British Cycling made their announcement and went off on an epic tantrum.

Bridges wrote: 'This is a violent act. When the government is expressing admiration towards Ron Desantis' fascist state which kidnaps children, and is itching to pass legislation to ban us from public life, this is a violent act.

'British Cycling are supporting this, they are furthering a genocide against us. Bans from sport is how it starts, look at what is going on in America.'

She accepted that 'a nuanced policy discussion' needs to take place, but said that British Cycling have not done this.

She added: 'I've given my body up to science for the last two years, and this data will be out soon.'

Bridges said she was strongly considering leaving Britain - which she calls 'this terrible island' - because of the high level of hate crimes committed against transgender people.

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye… thats it, troodle off now.

His name is actually Zach Bridges. He'll be doing the UK a favour if he follows through with his threat. Maybe he can go to Saudi Arabia where I'm sure he'll be welcomed with open arms.

I'm sure other places will be much less hateful. Most of the world is really known for trans acceptance right? I hear Iran is really friendly. Maybe we should fund a ticket lol.

Hehe call his bluff. Here you go mate, a first class ticket to Saudi, one way.

You just know that if you offered it to all of them they'd squirm. "oh but my family is here/I work here". Oh so I guess it's really not that bad then. So shut up, sit down and cycle with the men where you belong.

The talk about genocide is really starting to get my goat because these people have never seen one and shouldn't be throwing that around.

I had a classmate whose parents fled from Rwanda. They have no other relatives because none of them made it out. But no someone not letting you compete in the category you want is now a genocide.

I agree with you on using the word genocide. They are far to liberal with it in an attempt to create sympathy for their cause. It's like calling everyone a nazis for every. It loses it's meaning. Shame on them.

all these "activists" end up at a point where their rhetoric against the ever-expanding "enemy" just leaves them without allies, because they're stabbing them in the back while claiming to be on the same side--just look at r/StupIDpol, there's a lot of lefties pushing back agianst these unsatisfiable particular interests, that's important because it breaks the idea that there only can be two sides

they're like Mobility Mary

Oh that's why I picked it, it's known to be 'friendly' though it's def not friendly by western standards but I'm not too sure how they'd deal with...well everything going on there right now. Not to mention they have more of a 'trans the gay away' philosophy so depending on their relationships there may be a very bad time in the future.

has he tried stamping his feet, clenching his fists, and threatening to hold his bwef until he passes out?

tbf their approaches are either VERY masculine ("destroy property while making Tusken Raider noises") or VERY girly ("start a whispering campaign so everyone turns against your target without them knowing it and you can run to the people in charge of Twitter or the small office that gives out state grants to nonprofits and get your way")

now that's also the exact stereotypes of eunuchs in Imperial China, the Ottoman Empire, or 18th-century Italy ...

It's always fucking genocide with these people, they can't think of anything else but jumping to the most dramatic thing they can think of

    [–]ClassroomPast6178[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I don’t care that they throw a troony-fit and cry genocide at every opportunity, what annoys the shit out of me is that no one in the media ever calls them out and asks them to explain their use of it. The only time it gets called out is when Jewish organisations quite rightly make a fuss about the troons diluting the term genocide to mean “hurt fee-fees”.

The media has largely run pro-Troon propaganda non-stop for the past 8 years and never calls out bad behaviour from TRAs even when they have clearly, on camera, assaulted women.

I'm glad to see people gradually coming to their senses. Let's hope all of the women's sports orgs eventually follow suit.

I’m hoping someone calls this twat out on his tantrum too. Because I’ve seen people calling bullshit on the word “genocide” being tossed around Willy-nilly as no one really wants the horror of that word degraded like so many others have been.

Depending on which country he goes to, he may need to learn how to fly pretty sharpish once they get a look at him.

Can't be a winner if he has to compete with people on his physical level, so it's no surprise he's pitching a fit. And, naturally, he has to resort to the classic troon hyperbole of this being violence against them, hate crimes, blah, blah, blah.

I do love the bit where he claims he “handed his body over to science for two years” and that all the proof to counter the everything we know about the comparative anatomy and physiology of men and women is just about to come out, no doubt winning him the Nobel Prize in Physiology for overturning all the established science in the field.

Yeah sure, mate. Pull the other one, it plays jingle bells.

My thoughts on this is that they no doubt found some idiot with a PHD degree who will back up the bullshit "science".

White transwoman tears, to crib a phrase from their camp.

Lol cope harder. Love that he's crying for 'more nuanced discussion ' after his side has done everything to suppress the very same. Oh but also all discussion is driven by hateful far-right ultra-capitalists (citation needed)

Yes, I definitely wouldn’t be enjoying this quite so much if they were such insufferable dicks about everything. It’s possible to be gracious in victory, but when the people you beat are complete and utter arseholes, you kinda want to rub their noses in it. I really want the women cyclists who have won this to really celebrate the fact that reason prevailed and their sport is once again their own.

Glad they're pushing back. Organizations will realize soon that these manchildren are all bark, no bite.

They'll overreact, complain and threaten to leave or kill themselves, but in the end they get over it, because it's special treatment, and it's not the end of the world if they don't get it. And after enough of this, enough tantrums and crying over everything they feel entitled to, you realize they're just spoiled babies, and you learn not to reinforce that behavior. You tell them they'll just have to grow up.

I think organisations are starting to realise that pandering to a tiny minority to the detriment of a large number of their members isn’t “inclusion” it’s a heckler’s veto.

Whilst we have always been concerned about the majority trampling the rights of minorities, the adjustment to prevent that has simply handed power to smaller and smaller numbers with increasingly niche and bizarre claims. We have essentially set up a tyranny of the minority - which is every bit as bad as tyranny of the majority with the added benefit that the minority keeps changing and as a result is never satisfied.

The only genocide in history where all the victims are alive and well to tell us how awful it is they are being literally killed with feelings and words.

I wanted to see what Reddit was saying about this and it annoys me so much to see Reddit backing down off their trans insanity after I already took so many bans for it. I assume this is the case because of the comments people are making are not getting deleted or having accounts scrubbed over.

On the other hand it is rather uplifting to see sensibility.
